For Region A Blurays and R1 DVDs only.
As the title says, this Sony player (BDPBX370) only plays Region A Blurays and Region 1 DVDs, ie, discs for the North American market. It will NOT play region B Blurays or region 2 DVDs which are meant for the UK & Europe. However I have a collection of R1 DVDs so was looking for a player to do this, so this fits the bill. Some reviews have mentioned it also coming with a power supply for North America, however mine came with a power supply for UK/Ireland sockets which suited me fine. The player needs a 12 volt DC supply, so if you want this player it’s easy enough to pick up a power supply for UK/Ireland/European sockets. Overall I’m happy with this player as it does what I need, which is play North American discs.

Not for UK market- should not be sold on Amazon.co.uk
This device is clearly for the American market as it comes with a power supply that is meant for the US ‘2-prong’ electricity system. It arrived in a somewhat damaged product box - I would suggest that it has been sold and returned to Amazon numerous times already. This should not be sold - or allowed to be sold - by Amazon without clearly stating that it is for the US market.

Does NOT play DVDs, will only play BluRay discs, fantastic picture and sound quality
Does not play DVDs! Will only play BluRay discs, which are fantastic quality, great sound quality and very compact. The user interface is easy to use but clunky.

Not UK compatible
Why are these next day delivery? I assume this means there is stock already in the UK. Which makes no sense because the product is not compatible with UK electrical supplies. Waste of everyone's time.

This is NOT intended for the UK market - it comes with a 120v 60Hz to 12v adapter
This Blu-Ray player is NOT intended for the UK market. It is supplied with a 12 volt adapter which is designed to run from the 120 volt 60Hz American supply - this is stamped quite clearly on the adapter itself.Come on Amazon you can do better than this. I live in the UK and I would expect you to supply an item which is compatible with the electricity supply here i.e. 230 volts 50 Hz. There is nothing to the contrary on your listing so I would have expected it to function rather than me having to return it.

Not for the UK
I bought a "job lot" of 3 of these as Christmas Gifts, not realising that they wouldn't play UK Media, so won't play PAL DVDs either. ( Says something about Colour not compatible or something )Mistakenly I used an adapter plug for the Power Supply, not realising that it should be 120V input, it still gives out 12V but luckily it didn't blow up and it seemed to operate the unit O'k, but I don't recommend anyone else doing this.As in previous comments, it should be made clearer about Voltages and compatibility issues.
