The SMD LEDs are incredibly bright, even though they are driven by solar. These lights can be placed anywhere as long as there is enough sunlight to charge them during the day. This eliminates regular batteries or a traditional power source. We have had solar night lights from the hardware store that did not perform well at all. One of these security lights illuminates a large portion of our back yard. I have four. It cool to see the racoons and possums in the yard at night. You cannot beat these lights for the price.

This light is perfect for my fence post which is right beside the gate to the backyard. Very easy to install with just 2 screws which are provided in the box. I like the fact that this is a motion sensor solar light so that I never have to worry about, is the light on or did I turn off the light in the backyard. It has 9 LED lights and has an approximate range of 10 - 15 feet of lighting with 120-degree angle so I know I'll have plenty of light. Another big plus to this light is that it is waterproof. It appears to be built solid with high quality stainless so I expect this would be worry free. A for sure thumbs-up purchase!

I REALLY DIDN'T USE THIS THAT MUCH, I HAD ALL OF THE INTENTIONS TO HANG THIS OUTSIDE OF MY HOUSE BUT I COULD NOT FIND A GREAT POSITION TO PLACE IT. SO I ENDED UP JUST LEAVING IT OUTSIDE ON THE GRILL OUT IN THE ELEMENTS. IT SAT ON MY GRILL FOR MONTHS. I CAN SAY THAT THE LIGHT ACTUALLY WORKED, IT WAS VERY BRIGHT.

I bought this for backyard patio. The product is smaller than what I expected, but it works great so far. It is very easy to install and use. It doesn't require any kind of wiring. I had it for about a week now. Anytime I go to patio, it lights up and stay lighted for about 30s. It's great product.

The product is compact and built in great quality. The item is small but the led lights are powerful. It works perfectly for my front door lighting during night time. With solar power charging and low power requirement for led lights, it will replace my other motion detection lights (using AA batteries) sooner or later. :-)

I bought 2 of these but only 1 of them work consistently. The light that works consistently lasts all night provides a bright light and looks like a quality item. If they both would have worked I would have given them 5 stars.

It is a small walk way light that comes with a good quality LED bulb. Hope it last me long this time. My previous solar light last me only about a year. Hope I found a good replacement.
