Great watch...just what I wanted for a super price!
Hello all!Ok...so I had been looking hard at the Casio Mudmaster 1A3...but at $450+...that's a lot of scratch to drop. I have an Omega Seamaster Professional Chronograph...but I bought that maybe 16ish years ago, and I love it and generally do like watches, but my days of spending that kind of money for a watch seem to be over. I just don't have the desire to spend that type of money on possessions like I used to. Pay for experiences...not possessions.Having said all of that...I had to get my Omega fixed around a year ago and so that took 5 monthsish? I then started wearing an old Timex Triathlon watch from the early 2000's with fast wrap Velcro band. I looked like I just stepped out of the late 90's with that on. It kept time...but the Velcro band wore out, and I had to scour the seedy underbelly of the internet for another one of those...and then when I found it, I really didn't want to keep wearing that every day and wear out another band on a watch I really should just be using for working out...not work, going out, etc.Somehow....no idea how...I found this watch on Amazon. And for 17 bucks otd (out the door)...it's tough to go wrong with it.Bottom line is: I really like it.I actually can't believe how much I do like it. I've had if for two weeks...and It's the perfect watch for me....and if I only get a year out of it...it's totally worth it.If you want to nitpick negatives, the rubbery band that holds the physical watch band slides away from the end of the actual band...so that might bother some people? I set it to the official U.S. Time (I'm that guy)...and a week later it was a minute fast....and that was the digital portion I set. But better a minute fast than slow. The black and white is a great look.It can be a bit challenging to see the "negative display" (watch nerds correct me if this is wrong)....which is the white numbering/lettering on black digital display. I'm under overhead lights inside most days....and I can generally see it pretty easily. I also have the eyes of a mongoose...so seeing things isn't an issue for me. But the green display works perfectly at night. The physical face is almost like a carbon fibre pattern...not smooth...which is a nice little unexpected touch.I mean it's just a perfect watch for me...and if I still love it a year from now, I might pull the trigger on a Casio Mudmaster...but for a watch to put my toe in the big Casio G-Shock water....it's awesome and I'm glad I found it, ordered it, and have it.The pictures tend to make it look a little cheesier and cheaper than it looks in real life. The black and white design of the watch make it look classic and not gaudy...functional cool and not try-hard if that makes any sense. Big watch to be sure...but doesn't shout out to look at me. You kinda look like you know something other people don't know when you wear this watch. Especially the fact it looks like an expensive watch at only 17 bones...that's no joke.Hope this review helps!

Nice but big and LED's impossible to read unless lit up.
Watch is bigger than I thought it would be. I was looking for a bigger watch, but this is even bigger than I anticipated. With the four side protrusions, it's a bit more than I wanted but no fault of the seller. I revived exactly what I ordered. I don't hate it. I will still wear it. The only other gripe I have is that the LED numbers are very hard to read (Especially outside in the sun) unless and until you press the light button. Then they light up bright green. I do wish there was a way to make them come on maybe by lifting or flicking your wrist. That would be cool so that you don't have to use two hands to check the date or time, which is hard while riding a motorcycle. Not impossible but inconvenient. Given this is an inexpensive watch, I don't think one can ask for too much though. It keeps good time.

Dies after about 10-12 months.
It is a great little watch, I've ordered two. But the reason I've ordered two is that it dies after 10-12 months. Nearly impossible to open back to replace battery. I'd give it a 5 star if it was easy to replace the batter. Sadly, I'd like it to last longer than 10-12 months.

Great for military training !
The media could not be loaded. I’m a female who’s going to the basic training and needed a durable watch that can display military time. I was a little hesitant at first because it looks very big but the adjustability makes it super easy to fit around small wrists. The accuracy is almost on point I just can’t seem 2 set it perfectly but that’s ok for me. The only thing I don’t like is that the lighting won’t stay on. It has two light buttons but either one only lasts for about 3 secs and you have 2 manually keep pressing the button to show the light.

Lasted only 13 months
It was a great watch, right up until the hands slowed. I changed the battery once the time was getting behind 5-20 minutes 2 or 3 times per day. The new battery A. Was a huge pain to change. B. Didn't remedy the situation. At the price it might be fine to get a new watch every year, but personally I'm going to try a different one this time around.
