Nice but Pricey
I received this item through Vine.This is a great looking globe, and it is a great size for a desk or bookshelf. The text is a bit tiny, but overall the look and feel is what sells this. The base could be a little higher quality for the cost, but it's not a deal breaker.

Huge area does not natch up.
An important longitudinal strip from the arctic thru southern Africa does not match up making one side unreadable.The globe surface is made up of strips of paper that have been carelessly glued together.If I had seen it first, I never would have bought it. This is why physical stores will always serve a purpose.You can see what you are buying.

Cute decoration
Used for an Adventure Awaits themed party. Cute decoration. The seam overlaps and covers a bit so it’s not the most accurate globe but it’s a cute decoration.

Larger than I thought it would be!
Item as described and pictured but it was too big. I wanted a 3" and this was 5"+. A bit big for what I wanted it for. I wanted a miniature globe for my desk at work so it is too big. It is easy to read and a great value for the price. If only this seller had a smaller size. All in all, I would recommend this seller.

Very poor quality and craftsmanship
Extremely disappointed in the poor quality and craftsmanship of this product as it was bought as a gift and even if replaced will be too late. The globe was not intact and the nuts were stripped and unattached at the bottom of the box. The latitude lines don't match up at seam and there are multiple noticeable ink smudges. Very unimpressed with the poor quality of the product. Would rate zero out of 5 but not an option

Mine came with a wibbly-wobbly attachment to the base
The media could not be loaded. Mine came with a wibbly-wobbly attachment to the base -- if you spin it the wrong way it falls over. But I'll add a makeshift washer and maybe that'll fix it. If it does fix it, then -- It's pretty and I can read the place names even with my bad eyes. I like vintage items and it looks vintage so I'm relatively happy.Relatively happy. The print wasn't lined up properly so out in the middle of an ocean the equator doesn't meet...but I know it does, so it still works for informational purposes. However the print wasn't glued on sufficiently so it's coming off, and near Antarctica is tearing away.
