Glad I bought this. Just the right weight for sleeping beneath my ceiling fan. I recommend.

I ordered a King size. It came in quickly and well packaged. I washed it and put it on the bed. It just barely goes side to side so it's not was wide as I would have liked. I bought this because it was supposedly bigger. But it is a pretty color, washed fine and seems to be good quality.

I've read other reviews of these cotton blankets leaving TONS of lint in the dryer and taking long to dry. I had no problem laundering it. I prefer natural fabrics and have had cotton blankets before. I'm someone who can't sleep without a blanket or sheet no matter how hot it is. I was looking for a good blanket for spring and summer. I run very hot and this blanket was lightweight enough it didn't bother me at all. I keep the ac at around 60 degrees in summer at night and the blanket keeps me comfortable between the hot flashes.

full/queen HUGE on my full-size mattress and smelled so strongly of chemicals i had to put it straight in the wash. hopefully it WILL shrink a bit, but if it doesn't, i do know how to make a bed and tuck in the corners. as other reviewers noted, a wide waffle weave (which is fine, i like that), i'd call it mid-weight, very similar to my previous blanket which was fine in summer with a/c and great in winter with a nice down comforter on top (which I have). Ivory is a few shades darker than your average ivory IMO, but not as dark as the camel color pictured. hopefully it comes through the wash ok. i will add to review if i have any more comments.EDIT: This is about a year later, maybe less. It did shrink some in the drier. I now have it on my queen sized bed. It's a little oddly shaped but it no longer sheds on my comforter and is soft and warm, and has held up well. The smell went away after the first wash. Overall I would say I am satisfied with this product and have upgraded my rating from three to four stars.

I bought the blanket for the color. I have bought many cotton blankets, but this one is the thinnest and least soft one of all. Half of its weight came out in the gentle wash and low dry (see photo). It is advertised as a ‘Grand Hotel’ Blanket and it is not. Any Hotel I’ve stayed at, has had much better quality blankets than this. Don’t waste your money.

I absolutely love this blanket and will be ordering another as soon I'm done writing this review.Yes it will shrink, but that is to be expected of 100% cotton. With that in mind I purchased a King blanket for my Queen bed and it still fits nicely after having been washed and dried. I do turn it sideways for a better fit, as I have always done with all my comforters and blankets.This blanket is relatively lightweight and very warm.I have not experienced piling or lint bunnies as others have mentioned.Note: If you have pets that you share your bed with, expect snags from their claws. However it does not ruin the blanket in that there are no holes or coming apart of the weave. And washing seems to reduce or minimize the appearance of the snags.Amazon has a great return policy and excellent customer service, so if you're considering this blanket I'd say go for it!

I’ve never seen a blanket (or any fabric) shed so much. It leaves the washer full of navy fuzz balls I have to wipe out. It completely fills the dryer lint trap thicker than I’ve ever seen. It leaves navy fuzz balls all over my white sheets. I’ve washed it twice and no improvement yet. Also, the hemmed edges are coming apart and I have to trim strings with scissors. However, it is soft and the color is good.

I recently bought this blanket for a Christmas present and it was loved. I spoke with the person that I bought it for and they said that is one of the warmest blankets they have ever owned. It easily fit over their king sized bed and is surprising thin for how warm it is. I purchased the clean white color blanket and it really is "pure white", meaning that the white color really pops. I see no reason to give this blanket anything under 5 stars

Nice & soft. This is the 3rd one I have purchased. Have to wash it a few times at first to get lint out & "new" smell out.

It is a really pretty colour and when I took it out of the package and tried it on my bed it looked perfect. However, I didn't like the smell, so I washed and dried it and it shrunk terribly........not it is much too small for my bed. Very disappointed.

Very happy. Lightweight but warm and I even purchased a Twin one now as well. Cotton is always a good choice.

Great blanket but it shrank when washed. We have a queen size bed and would recommend buying a king size blanket.. We followed the washing instructions exactly.
