Not the quality Tiffany used to be.
After hours and hours of shopping for new ceiling lights for the kitchen I settled on this supposedly flush mount Tiffany style one. Bought 2. I knew I probably would not care for the LED light, and sure enough I hated it, even on a dimmer. LED light is just weird. This light made my eyes hurt and ultimately gave me a headache in about 30 minutes. But that is not all about the lights I did not like. Sure it mounts to the ceiling, but it has about 2 inches of space between the ceiling and above the Tiffany shade with an odd space ship like slotted feature that cast off light when on, above the light fixture, and a shadow against the ceiling when the light is turned off. I just don't like that. And it sits wiggly up there as well. And I don't think is a problem with the installation. It's the way the mounting bracket is made.Fortunately the thing totally comes apart, and I was able to get a handy guy to help me make a light fixture that I like out of what I bought and what I took down, that is really flush mount, and uses regular light bulbs. It is over your head so you won't dwell on the details of how the pieces of glass are put together less beautifully than they could be. The overall effect is a pretty light. But I was disappointed. I have Tiffany lights in every room of my house and these are the only ones I have had anything bad to say about. I would have returned it but I was remodeling and they sat in the box for a couple months before I had a chance to install them. I figured too long for a simple return. After I saw the problems for me at least with them, I shopped for a couple hours more and decided it would be easier for me to work with them, and change the light source.If you are not sensitive to LED light, and not fussy about stained glass quality they will be fine for you.
