HP Q6511X 11X High Yield Original LaserJet Toner Cartridge, Black, Single Pack (Packaging may vary)

I picked up 9 original toners for a fraction of the old price. There's still plenty of life in old laser printers if you can pick up a cheap one!

Purchased as a replacement for a 'compatible' cartridge that wasn't and the fake cartridge caused existing drivers to be blocked. This cartridge worked immediately it was installed; after a new driver was reinstalled in the computer.

These used to be sold at prices so universally high it ruled them out for me so I bought refilled cartridges; much cheaper of course but they usually had faults or did not perform that well. I don't know why but these original manufacturers cartridges are now sold by a number of suppliers here at prices far cheaper than they used to be. So I tried a new one from ''The Jolly Savage''. The quality of this new cartridge is far superior to refilled - even, smooth coverage, sharper, denser, more professional looking and the printer is less noisy in operation. Still dearer than refilled of course but in my view the extra cost is now worth it and a viable proposition (used in a Canon LBP 3460, which is compatible)

I am a bit old fashioned in that I try to use OEM inks with each printer especially colour. . They are more expensive than the cheaper alternatives. But you get what you pay for. A lot of work has gone into producing inks and toners that give good results on the correct paper and are durable ie do not fade etc I also feel that cheaper inks are likely to have cheaper ingredients with the risk that printer head nozzles may clog up if not regularly used.

To offset the other reviewer that rated this with 1 star because of a shady supplier, I feel I must speak up for its quality. I log the usage of printer supplies in our office and this toner managed to print 20,000 pages while generic replacements (high yield ones) don't last over 14,000.

Ante todo el embalaje del cartucho no corresponde al indicado en su fotograma. Hemos instalado el cartucho y da la impresión de que no tiene tinta o que está seca. Que hacemos? Lo hemos tenido que retirar de la impresora. Debe ser un cartucho antiguo o deteriorado.

Received promptly and performs as it is supposed to. My previous purchase from a different Amazon Marketplace vendor may have been an old, out-of-date box, as the print quality was terrible.
