The Twins Paperback – June 22, 2014

What a wonderful, funny, heart warming book! As the owner of three dobermans now - two at once, and now an only child - I couldn't help laughing about the stories written in this book. We also had two COMPLETELY different dobermans. One was the very intelligent, girly girl - my first dog Diesel. Diesel was my baby, the love of my life. Smart as a whip. Then we got a blue doberman - her name was Nitro. She was the sweetest girl, but also the clutsy one who would fall for any trick as long food was involved!This book reminded me of our wonderful times we had together. Memories I had forgotten, but am so glad I remembered.Roxy and Ty are a hilarious duo, and I look forward to more books on their journey through life - and food for Ty! Lol.I highly recommend this book to all dog lovers. I hope people with "Doberman prejudice" finally realize they are a wonderful breed, who just want to be loved and bump their owners.Natalie did an outstanding job explaining dobermans. Thank you for writing the book, and showing the world they are not the monsters people think they are!

This book made me laugh out loud! I've owned Dobermans for fifteen years and Ms. Carter's stories struck a definite chord with me. Anyone who has raised a puppy, especially a larger breed, will recognize The Twins. The book is a (too!) short, highly enjoyable read and I can only hope that Ms. Carter will entertain us with another one.

Just finished reading the The Twins and absolutely loved it! We rescued a Doberman puppy about a month ago and I was entertained to learn that blanket sucking in common for them. I was starting to think our pup was part cat as she would suck on blankets and rhythmically dig her claws in and out of the bed.In addition to being enlightening for me as a new dobie owner, I would also really recommend this book to any dog lover. Natalie Marie Carter fills her books with fun, lighthearted, and hilarious stories. It really is an enjoyable read.

Natalie has captured the character and craziness that comes with living with Dobes perfectly.The stories are told with humour and feeling.Thoroughly recommend this book for anyone who is thinking about owning a Dobermann or to any current Dobe owners who wonder if their dogs are strange.....

Great and funny reading, especially, if you are a Doberman lover, as, I am!

Fantastic book. Perfectly written and easy to read. Loved every minute of it, and couldn't put it down. Recommended to friends and colleagues who have dogs as they would surely relate to most of the situations here and even recommended people who don't as it's such a fun book to read. Can't wait for the movie! ;-)

I came across this book and thought it would be an entertaining and fun read for dog lovers and it exceeded my expectations! I was laughing almost immediately (out loud- my husband kept asking what was so funny:) anyone that has ever raised a devious puppy can relate their experience to the authors'. Great read, wonderful stories and it will make you love your dog(s) even more!

I loved this book..I have a Dobie and can relate to a majority of the short stories..they are such clowns..worth a read as only takes a minute to read each story..very funny book..

This is probably the best dog book I've ever read! Full of short, yet brilliantly written stories giving you full awareness to owning a dog, especially a dobie !! you can really relate to the Author and laugh along at the antics of these gorgeous dogs! If ever you want to know what a doberman is really like, read this book you will soon understand them fully!! :-D

I enjoyed reading The Twins very much, nice easy reading that drew me in to situations as if I was there. Related very well to the antics of Roxy and Tyler and would love to hear about their life in USA.

Loved reading this book. The writing makes you feel like you are actually there experiencing the adventures of these two beautiful dogs. A must read for all dog loves.

A real down to earth view of what living with Dobies is like. Full of anecdotes I am sure all Dobermann owners can relate two. A lovely read and I look forward to the next instalment.... Xxxx
