I Feel Whispering Dread Often, But Hadn't Seen It Before
The 7-year-old at our house talks about Roblox. He has collected some of the figures, to keep his Lego people on their toes.Because of his age, he is not allowed to play Apocalypse Rising or other zombie games deemed inappropriate for a 7-year-old, but he knows all about the games from his older half brothers. He asked for, and was delighted to see, these figures. As he says, "I can play the games when I am grown up -- maybe 10?"He feels the figures are very attractive, with an excellent gun for Bandit and Whispering Dread has a sword and 2 creepy spiders. The movable parts move as they should and seem fairly sturdy. The toys are made in China and have been "safety tested," although they should not be given to children under the age of 3. There is a phone number for U.S. customers to use in case of problems.I did not understand the directions saying all packaging should be discarded for young children's safely, followed by a notice to retain the package for future reference since it contains important information. Also, as an old person, I did not understand why Bandit costs $12.53 and Whispering Dread is $9.41. Seems like a lot for plastic, but then, Legos impress me the same way.

The toys are ok, the Roblox code is lame, IMO
I got my two sons who play Roblox three of these sets of toys: Frost Empress and Fallen Artemis (Two Figure Pack), Bandit and HomingBeacon: The Whispering Dread, and Sharkbite: Duck Boat Vehicle. The toys were a small part of the draw but also the in-game item that we were offered on the package. We assumed (wrongly) that the in-game item was the skins in the box. Instead, what we got were a couple of small accessories and toys that are hard to play with.Frost Empress, Fallen Artemis, Bandit, HomingBeacon: The Whispering Dread, and the person that comes with the boat are hard to pose. The arms aren't as flexible as say, Lego mini figures, and these are much bigger as well. They are about the size of the Minecraft mini figures though. The Shark and boat is ok, but also doesn't do much. As far as mixing and matching pieces, I guess you can do a couple pieces, but since so many of these are molded it is difficult to end up with anything other than an Empress with the wrong head, etc.The codes you get in the boxes (they scratch off) were a huge let down. For instance, one was a backpack and one was blond hair with antlers. That's it. Not the whole body or anything. For $10+ for each set, you'd think you would get more of a set. We were bummed enough that we didn't even put in the last couple codes. We wont buy again. Not unless they give a skin or something with the codes. Not one part of a skin. I'm not buying 20 figures to get the possibility of a few accessories.
