Cascade 220 Superwash ARAN Yarn - ARAN WEIGHT - White #871

I needed one more skein of this yarn to complete a project that I started last year. Meanwhile the manufacturer has changed and is no longer in Turkey, but China. While the color (white) matches well enough, the new yarn is of much poorer quality AND costs a few dollars more per skein. The yarn splits constantly and feels plasticky. In general I cannot recommend Cascade Yarns.

I made knit hats. Colors are perfect.

Exactly what I needed without going to a specialty yarn store

This is 100% merino wool and that's why it's a bit pricey! There are no price breaks here. In the future I will check out better pricing. This is a bit more than yarn sites. However, if you're looking for a certain hard-to-find color, this would be a good place to look.

I love the texture of this yarn. And the vendor was great when I repeatedly re-ordered it again and again!

It is beautiful and knits up well.
