The Flash New 52 (DC Comics) Kotobukiya ArtFX Statue Figure

I joined Amazon only a few days ago, so as an avid collector of statues and figurines (which I pay waaaay too much for at Comic-Con's and Collectormania's), my intension was to see what cheap and cheerful figurine I could get online. I wanted it to look smart and add to my (already) extensive collection.So I got this......along with a few Graphic novels (When in Rome) ;-)So firstly, it arrived a few days early (which was great, 2 thumbs way up to the seller), and the packaging and the figurine itself was in perfect condition.The packaging is really smart and very stylised. Infact, if you're like me....you could probably use some of the cool Illustrations as a backdrop to the figurine. They are THAT good.So I'm a huge DC fan and on the cusp of the new Injustice: Gods Among us....it had to be one of the Justice League. Flash it was then. He stands at around 8/9 Inches and he's one solid piece. Light...but solid!! There are NO moving parts and even his small 'Electric Zap' ear thingy's are very robust, so you never feel they'll just drop off!! His feet are Magnetic and they clamp themselves down onto a very cool (custom logo Justice League) stand. This is simple yet genius, especially for clumsy folk like me!! He stands upright and he stands well.As for the look. Its not to everyones taste. The Flash does have a seminal Anime feel to his face, but I love that and I dig how DC have branched out and taken risks. It works.....for me at least.The finish is also superb. Good lines and a very good attention to detail. If I had any woes, its that the zoom picture on here does it NO Justice (pun intended)!! Its better in reality.And, if you like to show off your figurines with spot lamps (like me).....The Flash really makes the best of this due to the Metallic sheen that is on his suit.And.........its REALLY bloody cheap. And....Its from an already well established company.Supes, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman and I think Aquaman is almost here. I'm getting them all.A full-on recomendation for anyone who loves DC, loves a good figurine and loves them cheap.Peace out DC fans.

Bought this for my husbands anniversary present - he is a fan of all this stuff! If is quite beautiful, I can appreciate it even if its not my thing!! Was anxious about it coming from Japan and though it took 3 weeks, it arrived well within the max time stated. I was able to track the parcel, which eased my anxieties.

I bought this for my Father as a Father's day present, he absoloutely loved it, he likes the gloss finish on the paint and the attention to detail is immaculate.I will be getting him another from the ArtFx new 52 series for Christmas!It is worth buying for the keen collector!Thomas Chiu

Stunning Flash figure, the metallic red is just awesome. Stands perfectly on the base with the magnets in his feet. This is the best Flash figure you can buy.

I've been collecting this series, and so far have both Superman and Green Lantern. The glossy material can be a bit off-putting to some, especially when used with the matt texture of some other components (like is done with the aforementioned two) but this for this one it all works well. Looks good and lovely detail. If you like the others in this series you will like this one too. Best of the series so far IMO.

Excelente work of ArtFX on this one.I still think the price of these statues justified much better packaging, but the quality of this statue alone deserves the 5 stars.

My son was really pleased with this as I bought it for him. Excellent service, arrived when they said it would, and is really well made.

Best statue I've bought for my nerd shelf, looks great visually, does have some parts which are fragile like the ears which have come off but other than that it's the perfect thing for a DC or Flash fan.
