Good item for the price.
This is my second one of these, the first worked good until it wouldn't stop running unless you disconnected the power supply. However, it moves water extremely fast. My 19 feet Pro Master's bilge pump failed and the hall filled with water due to heavy rain, good thing I had this onboard; made an emergency swap, connected to a power source and my hall was emptied within minutes. That's my reason for purchasing a second one.

Doesn't Shut Off!
Pumps well enough but once it's been wet it just keeps going long after the water is down. Burned out my boat battery twice because it just kept running!

Works fine. Pumps of this size and price are clones of each other.
I’ve owned small boats of various lengths up to 21’ for over 30 years. My experience with bilge pumps is that regardless of brand or cost, they seem to last between 3 to 6 years when used in saltwater. The pump on my current boat is already making noise after only 2 years. It’s still functional, but I’m not sure it will last through next season. I got this pump as a replacement. This pump is almost identical to the one installed so I don’t anticipate installation problems. I tested the pump in a bucket of water. It worked fine.

It works
Does a good job on my 13 foot Starcraft. It emptied the water out to the level of blue on the pump. Beats having to hand pump or scoop the water out.
