Very handy
I used this pack with first graders for an ocean-themed art project. I liked that the bottles were small, had caps that twisted closed, and the ink is nicely saturated with color.

Useless and expensive!
2 of the colors that I bought were dry. Not even 1 drop was used. Going back! A waist of money and time! Im giving it 1 star because the system does not allow none.

Acrylic inks are an artist’s material that has been around for a while, but is gaining popularity. Acrylic inks are also gaining traction as a painting material for model builders. That’s where I come from. If you are an artist, you likely already know what these inks can do.Acrylic ink is more akin to printer’s ink than it is to writer’s ink. It has the same components as acrylic paint, but ratios are different, as are the various specks of additives. At first glance it seems like diluted paint. The difference is the pigment is NOT diluted. It is hard to find an acrylic ink that isn’t vibrant because of that concentrated pigment. These KAMENSKAYA inks are excellent. Thin, with dense pigment, and interesting colors. Well curated sets of inks. I like this sort of bottle because I like to dribble my ink/paint directly into an airbrush. The mixing ball is a bonus.I did some tests on a piece of off-white, highly textured card stock. They have a sheen that isn’t quite gloss in my trials. A bit of translucency, which is expected with acrylic inks. I diluted the purple with water and used a dirty brush to do a swab. The color comes through nicely, and the sample would have looked a lot better if I hadn’t grabbed a dirty brush and not noticed until processing the photos. Sigh.It airbrushed beautifully. #5 tip at 25lb pressure. Although the sample had several passes, the shading in the card-stock's texture still reads. Now, I need a project. But that will happen because I want to further explore what these inks can do for my modeling.

am enjoying playing with these
let me preface this by saying that, though i am an artist and i do paint with acrylic paints, i don’t have any experience with acrylic inks. so i ordered this set to try some out and play around. i have used high flow and fluid acrylic paints however, and i’d say these inks are one more step in the fluid direction from those. they are highly pigmented though and sort of act like super-pigmented watercolors. my set includes a yellow, an orange, a light lavender and a deeper purple. i would personally probably get the most use out of black and white to use as accents on my acrylic paintings but i will find a way to utilize these and will likely get some other colors. i don’t have anything to compare them to so not sure how they rank against other makers of acrylic inks but from what i can tell they are good quality. i like the twisty pointed application caps, so you can kinda “draw” with them… but also makes clean up easy. be sure to shake them well before use, and remember that you can combine them with various acrylic mediums to get different textures and consistencies. they seem decently priced, comparable and maybe even a little cheaper, than other brands.
