Electric rotating curler
I bought this for my daughter for Xmas as her cordless ones use to lose battery half way through doing her hair which would annoy her. So I thought these would be good. And they are so easy to use once you get the hang of it. The curls actually stay in her hair all day as well which is a bonus.

Not for short hair
Had to return this after burning my head. Do not use on short hair!

Very large
I found this very large to use and quite clumsy making it difficult to use. It was very plasticky also. It is not something I would recommend. I would not be happy doing my whole head with it as it got hot on the handle

It is not simple to use, it is too complicated offering so many ways to get burned or frazzle hair
I cannot give this more than 3 stars and they are only because this might be brilliant in experienced hands but, I have more cons than pros.Pros: Looks great, fabulous quality - not dissimilar to a famous brand of hair straighteners. I couldn't wait to give it a try. You can adjust the heat, there is a digital display and, the instructions advise that going over a certain heat you will damage your hair and, believe me, you will.- You can control the temperature via + and - buttons.Cons - where to begin:- there is an integrated rest so that you don't burn the surface you put the hot iron onto but, the iron is quite heavy and it does not remain stable on the surface so unless you prop it up on something, it will tip on it's side.- The clasp - I don't know what else to call it - that you open and close to hold hair in place, only just about reaches half way up the iron and the problem with this is, you seem to need to touch the hot iron, even if by mistake, to wind your hair around it. If you wind your hair, of course, without the clasp it will not stay in place- The clasp is situated at the bottom of the iron, proximate to a button that swivels the iron round to the left or right, turning your hair with it. I nearly got the dratted thing stuck on the top of my head and no way back down until I managed to locate the other side of the button. Unless you seriously know what you are doing with it, you could frazzle your hair rather than end up with a beautifully curled ringlet that glows.- because of the above, the unit is very clunky, awkward to use and, you are using an item that potentially heats up to 240 degrees which is dangerous.- In my opinion, it is a bad design. Aside from the on/off and heat control buttons, every other function button is located in close proximity at the top of the barrel so that you sort of end up inadvertently touching the wrong bit end up swizzling, whether you meant to or not, in any direction! There is a small booklet of instructions and it is a shame that the manufacturer did not see fit to have them properly translated.A hot, swizzling, curling iron might be just what you are looking for but I couldn't recommend this at all. I think it would even be difficult if you were using it to do someone else's hair. It really looks the part, but, contrary to the manufacturer's claims that it is simple to use and gives professional results - even for a beginner - I don't agree at all.I will pass this to my granddaughter who has super thick, shiny dead straight hair that she likes to curl - my hair is thin, fine and highlighted - if she is able to use it successfully, I will update.I hate to give a bad review but I was disappointed with this and could not recommend it.
