Far exceeded my expectations!
After reading the product description and perusing different reviews, I felt this would work for what was required. The plants needed to be moved out of the nursery (my laundry room - lol) so I could use the washer and dryer without having to move all the plants into the kitchen. The unit arrived 2 days a head of schedule. Nov 6th versus the 8th. It was packed tightly, so there were no loose parts, and the instructions were quite clear, even though I needed a magnifying glass to read them. Ahhh... the wonders of getting older!Putting the poles together was fairly easy, the hardest part was getting the pole lined up from ceiling to floor. I'm only 5'2" tall, so it was up and down a small ladder until it was secure and there were no concerns about my beloved plants crashing to the floor.1 - I particularly LOVE the hanging plant arm. If all the disks were zig zagged from the center and the other side, you could actually hang 3 varying height plants from it. IMPRESSIVE!!2 - The very small footprint is also extraordinary. Here we have 1 hanging and 6 sitting plants, yet there was still room on that same wall for 3 pictures! I am one HAPPY CAMPER...Getting the disks installed was minimal, as diagram 5 showed they needed to be in an upright position in order to get the screws installed properly. If you tried to slide the screw in, while they were in the down position, they simply refused to work. It did take a little extra hand work to keep the disks in place, as the screw was installed. At one point, I was beginning to think another pair of hands would be helpful, but got the job done.Moving the plant holders to where you wanted them was also easy. 1 - loosen screw, 2 - move disk to spot required, 3 - tighten screw, 4 - put plants onto holders.I admit, I have moved the disks (so easy to do) several times since the planter was installed and I'm not holding my breath that it's exactly right just yet. LOL...For now, ALL the plants seem happy in their new environment, and my front room looks delightfully better with their presence.**HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Love!!!! (4.5 stars)
This is my third time purchasing this plant stand. It is INCREDIBLY sturdy; zero wobbles once you install it correctly. It easily supports 7” pots that are 5lbs, and at one time I even had a heavyweight 8” ceramic pot (10lbs!!) on the lowest plate I installed. I highly suggest NOT doing the heavyweight stuff for safety reasons though (don’t add heavy stuff the higher you go, although if you want to add a really heavy pot make sure it’s installed on a plate attachment VERY low to the ground). Although the plate holding up the 10lb pot seemed very steady and I installed it low to the ground, I was still a little worried how it would hold up over time (I was worried the plate might snap off from the weight), so I exchanged it for a lighter pot (5lb plastic pot). Trust me when I say the little plates/stands WILL be 100% aligned if you put it together right. When attaching them to the pole, you must install them flipped upward and not in their regular horizontal position. So take one of the little plates, then insert it into the tightening mechanism so that the plate is facing UPWARD toward the pole and then look through the hole where the screw goes and make sure the holes are all aligned (you can clearly see through the hole if they’re all aligned) and THEN add the screw, tighten completely, and FINALLY you can pull the plate down into its normal horizontal resting position. If it’s not aligning it’s because you aren’t installing it right (trust me). I can see why it can be confusing because the directions are not great. The company should update the instructions so it’s more clear for some individuals. Once you figure it out once, installing more will be a breeze. As much as I love this, I still give it 4.5 stars. Why? First of all, it is NOT aesthetically pleasing. It looks cheap as heck, but once you add plants it does look better, but still not great. Looks best with vining plants that can cascade down the pole. I added fairy lights to one of mine and that also looks cuter. I’m thinking of maybe adding yarn down one of the poles too. The plates themselves are so darn hideous on the underside too. Not sure what I can do to make them more aesthetically pleasing, so I just gave up and left those as is. Just giving a heads up that they’re ugly as heck and will need some brain storming to think of ways to hide lol. Second, the materials also don’t seem like the best quality in general. Personally I think this should be in the 50 dollar range, but even though I think it’s a little overpriced I’m still very happy with it and it has held up well (I’ve had 2 of the poles for at least a year, maybe year and a half and there have been zero problems).

Love
Smaller home with my share of plants meant a stand like this was a must for me. Love it. Genius space saving idea. Sturdy. Love the lip of the actual shelves for planters that do not have a catch tray. Easy to wipe down as well.

Good overall but does shake a little
Overall I am satisfied with this product. It took a little while to assemble, but went together pretty easily. My only complaint is that when installed, the rod does shake back and forth a little when pushed or when it's windy outside. The tension at the top and bottom is very tight, so it seems secure and like it won't fall over. I think the movement is coming from the telescoping sections of the rod, which hopefully doesn't affect the stability. I have several pots and a bird feeder hanging off of it, and so far it has held up well even outside in the weather. I would recommend for either indoor or outdoor use.

Strong, sturdy, easy to assemble, very useful
I am so glad I ordered this product. It is very easy to assemble and no tools are required. I would, however, recommend a level. Your rod doesn’t have to be perfectly straight as the trays have a ridge, but if you’re picky about straightness a level helps a lot.As for sturdiness, it’s fairly good and holds my plants fine, however I haven’t had them up long and don’t have large plants so I’m still a little apprehensive. It hasn’t moved since installation about a week ago, but if I pull on the poles it could easily move. If you have children I’d supervise them and teach them not to pull on the poles, but if left alone they work fine.As for the complaints on assembly - you have to follow the instructions! Trays have to be assembled in the UPRIGHT position, or they don’t line up. When they are folded down after installation they contribute to the sturdiness of the pole. Keep that in mind!Im going to paint the plastic shelves. They don’t match anything in my home. But as for the usefulness of this product, it’s perfect.
