Doesn't have enough power, the hot area is very narrow.
The good: The physical design of this is very good. Just the right size and form to go around your neck with an easy-to-use adjustable closure to snug it up to your liking.The bad: It's USB powered and the heated part is just a small strip right in the middle. It's not wide enough to warm up but a small part of your neck and it never gets particularly hot. The USB power block is rated at 5 volts, 0.5 amps. That's 2.5 watts. A regular full sized heading pad is 60 watts, like a 60 watt light bulb. Remember those old-fashioned night lights with the little Christmas tree like bulbs in them? Those were 4 to 7 watts. This is half that.I didn't know it was USB powered when I bought it. If I had known that I wouldn't have bought it because I bought a USB powered one once before and it was the same problem, just not enough power for a heating pad. It's more like a toy.
