made great!
This pergola is a wonderful addition to our backyard! Only issue was that the directions were not as defined and clear as we would have liked...fortunately my husband is awesome when it comes to putting items together and in about 4 hours it was up and we were enjoying this new addition under great shade and coffee....great price, well made and very stable!

Beautiful Pergola
Best advise-Get an Allen wrench bit for your power drill! It made life ten times easier. I couldn’t imagine cranking all those screws in my hand. That being said I pretty much put this together by myself (39 year old female). Had my son come out and help when it was time to stand things up. But it’s was not difficult. I have enjoyed this now for a few months. I’ve moved it to another patio in my backyard so I could put my pool on my round patio, and think I almost like it better there. Wherever you put this pergola, it really grounds that area and looks like quite the statement piece of structure. Love the shade when it’s needed! Overall very happy with my purchase.

Is a harder project than most people comment, but worth the effort.
What we like...The 10x13 wood model fits our sun room back deck perfectly. This will lower our air-condition bill and offer shade on the hottest summer days, and we can sit on the deck more days. The wood color matches the stain on it deck, and it's sturdier than an umbrella we had, as well as easier to retract or deploy. Most of the engineering is really good with only one major flaw. All but two small screws came with the hardwear. What we don't like...The cross wise rain cover is a disaster, as the rain puddles between the joist and sags the cover. We fixed this with length wise, cut to fit, "AmeriLux MultiLite 6mm 4' x 8' Clear Polycarbonate Twinwall Panel". In essence a durable cover which should be rain and snow proof. It also looks good. The original rain cover and metal supports are useless. Its the only major engineering flaw in what is a good product. Like other comments, the instructions are more of a guideline than what a detailed instruction list would and should be. As at least one comment said... You'll need 2 ladders, two people, and can extra one you can call on for brief helpThe bottom line is... Is this price worth the price and effort? For us, it is.

Fits up against home!
We loved this purchase so much we ordered a 2nd one a year later! Seller communication was excellent as well. Shade gives us a comfortable sitting space as well as privacy and cooler area for company. assembly is easy and holds up in the weather. We did drill into the concrete to make it more secure.. very happy with purchase.

Wish I could give zero stars.
This thing is an absolute disaster. Awful to assemble. It literally took like 6 hours. Pieces were bent and scratched. Finally got the thing up and had our first rain and this is what happened to it. There is nowhere for the water to drain so it retained it all, busted the frame, and is now beyond repair. I live in San Diego, best weather ever and this happened. I can’t imagine having this somewhere where it rains frequently. I reached out to their customer support and their entire response was, “you can remove the roof when it rains.” Awesome. Huge waste of money. Spend the money on one with a better design and better customer support. Will be trying to get my money back on this and am already dreading how I will get rid of this monstrosity.

Pay close attention to instructions
It's not too bad putting together. You'll need at least 3 people and a couple ladders to make it easier. 4 people is ideal. Pay attention to the parts especially the top. The directions on the top (canopy) are not well instructed. Once up it was very nice. Put planters under the feet as anchors/stabilizers which doubled as decor. Very satisfied.

You build what you pay for
Not gonna lie the assembly wasn't easy. Do not attempt with less than 3 people.I can't stress that enough. Took about 4 hours, including some time to redo some sections as the instructions are NOT clear. We were sent one wrong part which fortunately did not impact the final build. It's lightweight (100 lbs total -which is good on a deck) and we plan to anchor it down as the wind easily picks it up). It's made of aluminum which will bend easily. We bent one piece when the wind caught it during assembly and one piece was already dented. Hoping it lasts a couple of years. It looks nice at least. Here's to hoping it stays that way! Didn't need any tools except the included Allen wrench. You will need at least 2 stools! I'm not saying don't buy just saying be prepared with people and time!

Quality product and excellent product support
The product was easy to assemble with easy to follow instructions. We had minor damage to a structural component. Customer support responded within one business day and offered several acceptable remedies.

Pergola
Perfect for what I need. Fabric on top will not last, I don’t know if there will be a replacement for that later.

When it Rains, it Pours
Not only did it take more than 2 people to put the pergola together in 2 hours, it took 3 people and 5 hours! When it rained, the canopy cover that is supposed to protect the folded canopy roof, filled with water and I had to go out every few hours with a broom to push the water out of the filled cover! The cover is now stretched. I cannot always be home when it rains so what will happen. I looked on Domi's website and there is a similar model only the canopy roof was tilted which allowed the rain to run off....there's an idea!! I have been trying to get a resolution to this but so far have not although they have been in touch with me via email. I spent over $700 for the pergola and another $500 to hire people to put it together and it still is not working right. I hope that Domi comes up with a fix for this and sends me the parts to fix it!!
