I bought these to help ease a medical condition I have in my heel and they seemed like a great idea preventing the necessity to put heel raises in all my shoes.The description of this item suggests one size fits all, which is absolutely NOT the case. I have size 8 feet and yes the item fits onto my foot but the raised section under my heel (heel bed) is too small, designed for a much smaller foot. Also, the heel bed is completely rounded unlike a human heel, which may be rounded at the edges, but in fact is mainly flat. Why does this matter you may well ask? It matters because when these items are worn either inside a shoe or outside of one they make your heel completely unstable i.e. it rocks from side to side on the rounded heel bed, which is disconcerting and shows they are poorly designed. There was a serious risk that I would go over on my ankle , despite the shoe support, so I stopped using them. Unfortunately by the time I used them it was too late to return the item. However, I feel it is necessary to write a review as someone out there will buy these and end up spraining their ankle.My wife with a shoe size of 5 tried them on to see if they would do the same and found that they caused exactly the same problem for her, which was reassuring and confirmed my view that these items are not safe to use.
