Perfectly adequate device
I’m a controls engineer. I’ve checked the calibration of this device against three known temperature constants. Buy with confidence, it’s a perfectly adequate body temperature thermometer. For those who care, it doesn’t have a visible light spectrum laser You won’t shine a red dot in your babies eyes....

Easy to use.. Not sure about accuracy
This product is really easy to use and can produce a reading in seconds. However, sometimes I find it hard to keep it still with my son wringing around and the readings can vary greatly. I have since switched to an armpit thermometer that the midwives used in hospital. I would say its handy to get a rough idea of body temp, especially if baby is sleeping but not accurate enough to monitor a poorly child.

Great device
Having a premature baby who has a number of health conditions I have found this thermometer to be of great use as it’s easy to pop in the changing bag so I can keep an eye on my little one when we are out and about as she has a weak immunity to the most common if childhood illnesses. Definitely recommend

Great quality product with poor instructions.
Great quality, seems to work well on testing. Nice design and doesn’t use too much plastic in the packaging which is refreshing.However, poorly translated instructions are pretty complicated and tricky to understand. It uses some very old fashioned terms for parts of the body which I had to google!! We got there eventually and are happy with our purchase.

Not reliable
Only found out after having to take my son to hospital that we had been relying on this for months and it was wrong. The day we took him to a and e, this thermometer said he had a temperature of 36.something, at the hospital or was 38.9. They did refund quickly when I contacted them though

Easy to use
Bought for my daughter to measure the temperature through the forehead. Besides that, this thermometer can measure basically any temperature you want like the water before her bath. It is really easy and convenient to use specially for your little one.

Body mode not working at all
I am rewriting the review as after some months the thermometer is not working on body mode at all. I guess the surface is OK but I can't get any body temperature. It shows 36.4 or 36. 5 all the time. Bought another thermometer and compared it as well. Disappointed.

98-103f on different readings at the same time/spot
Rubbish product. Gives vastly different readings for temperature taken at the same time/spot. Just tried and they’re 5 degrees apart which is ridiculous. I’d expect minor changes but this is bizarre and makes it impossible to rely on. We had bought this as our 2 year old didn’t like the in-ear one but goes its back to that now.
