They are solar, so no need for batteries or cords. They turn on off with the light. These looks Amazing and SPOOKY. The color is so bright and vibrant. My neighbors are jealous. These stay lit all the night. I can't think of anything bad to even say about them. Get them if they are on your mind. They're really,really cool.

I had ordered the butterflies. They didn't glow well and stopped working after two days though I charged whole day in bring sunlight. The globes ordered from a different vendor were good. Looks like the butterfly shape itself has a problem
