Easy to install very good display

Until you’ve driven a car with even a basic HUD showing speed it’s hard to appreciate what you’re missing. I did and after getting a car without one missed that ‘eyes out’ capability hugely. This unit is easy to fit in a mk 1 Jazz via lighter socket or OBDC port and doesn’t need the reflector patch. There is inevitably a small lag between speed changes and the GPS readout - around a second at most I reckon - but that is no problem.After a day or two driving with it you realise how much more attention you’re paying without looking down at a speedometer. A great safety device that makes driving easier and for a great price.

Arrived early which is always a good start.Well packaged items, the instruction book is tiny so had to wear my glasses and squint to read it but got the message in the end. Very simple to install - I used to ODB port which makes the speed reading more accurate. I was able to hide the wires completely which always makes it look better.Fitted the little mirror patch which helps show the digits much more clearly.Plugged it in, switched it on and there it is! Perfect. Took the car for a spin and tested it up to 60mph. Exactly right all the way with cruise control set at different speed to give me time to check it.Cracking bit of kit. I only bought it for the speed readout so haven't tested the other features but for what I want it for it's ideal. Unobtrusively located just in the bottom right corner of the windscreen it's not too bright at night either which was a concern prior to installing.My fiancee - who I bought it for- is thrilled with it. Now I have to buy one for MY car too.

A good little device and value for money!Easy to set up and great for learners and new drivers. I got one as I've started practicing in my own car due to Lockdown restrictions and was so used to my driving instructors car which had one of these. It just makes life so much easier!I own a Dacia Stepway so the OBDII didnt work (thought it wouldnt due to the manufacturer being from france) but the GPS worked amazingly instead. Plugged it into the USB port above my radio, straight away it turned on and was reading accurate MPH as soon as I pulled away.The screen light is very bright, and shows crystal clear on the windscreen even during the sunniest days, the reflective plastic that came with the pack made the reflection crisp and very easy to read. Would 100% recommend having that on, it can take a little to work out where to angle the device to get the best view from the drivers seat, but once thats done it all sorted in 5 minutes!

I like it! It works pretty well I just run it off of its own GPS rather then the obd because I only needed speedo in mph does the job it's plug and play which is handy.

For those with a W203 C220. Do not use this with your OBD port. My 4 month old battery (from new) was completely drained in a single night. The only change in the vehicle was the addition of this speedometer. I will be recharging my battery and then using GPS mode.I will edit and add to this review when I use the GPS function...Edit:This device has been working really well with the GPS mode. After set up, I no longer need to touch the device. I would like to also point out that even during sunshine you can still viily see your HUD on the windscreen. (Without the reflector)

Bought this back in November. Set up using the USB charger. Worked fine for 3 months then when it powered up it went through a sequence on the display and powered off. Contacted the seller who stated they would replace it …. Still waiting for the replacement 2 months later. If your are going to buy a HUD I would suggest looking at other makes as I found this one interferes with the DAB radio even with suppressors fitted. I have now purchased another make with a green display which works fine and no interference with the DAB. Poor customer service from the seller.
