House numbers & house letters made form solid brass and then chrome plated and lacquered to provide a long lasting finish. Each house number is 50mm (2”) high whilst the house letters are 38mm (1½”) high and can be easily applied to any of our plaques simply by peeling off the backing tape and fixing to the surface of the plaque. The special adhesive used forms an extremely strong bond with the surface of the plaque ensuring that his product will last. The story of Black County Metal Works began over twenty five years ago with the dreams of one man, Mr Eric Schubert, a highly skilled metal worker who lived and worked in the Black Country. His passion in life was metal and the many wonderful items that could be created from this versatile raw material. Although he is now retired, the business and passion has passed to his son-in-law, whose own father was both an engineer and designer, and his grandson. Family ties are still very strong and the founder, Eric Schubert, is still very much involved in the design and creation processes.

Adhesive partially missing
I liked the size of the letter and the quality of the actual letter however only half of the adhesive was on the back of the letter, fortunately I had quality double sided tape which solved what could have been an added expense.

I bought two of the same letter and they’re marginally different but don’t think it matters! Good quality and easy to fit

Brilliant and look really nice - very modern
I purchased this, along with another number from the range and I am very impressed! The numbers were really easy to stick to the door: simply peel off a strip on the reverse and place. Bosh!The numbers look lovely on my door too - before and after pics are included. I cannot comment on the longevity of these items as only had a few days, but will report back..I have a composite door with chrome accessories and these numbers match perfectly. They have a brilliant chrome finish that polishes up nicely.Edit: these have been on my door now for over 12 months and have not shifted! They have been exposed to wind, rain, snow, hail.. and look as good as they did on day one.

Quite small, good stick
Good stick but quite small. I managed to get it off when I wanted to change where it was and now it still sticks fine in its new place on my front door.

I wanted PLACIDO for my cats kennel for when he is outside. Simple to remove paper backing, simple to stick onto objects. Get the size you want for your requirements eg house name. Different sizes. Highly recommended.
