Beard wash with pump. Smells like upper class winery.
My review is based on the beard wash. It comes in a nice sturdy plastic bottle with a pump. The bottle and pump were sealed nicely without leaks. I have a short beard so I only needed to use 3 pumps of wash to get a good lather, I could have used 2 and been just fine. It lathers nicely and creates some good smelling suds. It smells sweet almost fruity like a hint of grape, even though the bottle says “WOODY AMBER”. Very pleasant regardless. I let it sit in my beard for about 2 minutes while I lather my body in body wash. Rinsed out with ease, can’t tell a difference but I didn’t expect much after one use.Purchase based on pump, amount of product, and price, and am very satisfied.

Wonderful product!!
I don’t usually leave reviews. But I had to for this product. I use this every day. It’s a great product. It does not dry out my beard and leaves it very clean. I do highly recommend it because I have sensitive skin and no break outs. I have only used it for 2 months and it has no scent so it doesn’t mix scents when using beard oil or beard balm.

My experience with Gentle Vikings
My experience with the beard wash from Gentle Vikings has been a great experience so far. I use this product 2-3 times a week and it’s left my beard in such great condition. One of the main reason why I like this beard wash is because of its smell, it’s got this wood-like type of smell to it, which compliments my beard’s scent once it’s dry. I look forward on buying more Gentle Viking products in the near future. Keep up the good work!

Wow..
Guys, it came in a great package and it is like goo. With only a bit of it you can wash all your beard easily. It smells pure cleaness!!!!! And the most important, since the first time I used it, it made my beard look 10 times better. Totally recommend it!!!

Excellent product!
Smells great, lathers great, amount of product for the price is great, the pump is convenient. I'll be keeping this in stock.

I like it.
Comes in a larger bottle with a pump, unlike most bear wash in a small squeeze-out bottle. Feels very lathery and beard comes out feeling soft and clean. Others complain of the fragrance, but I personally like the "woody amber" scent. Perhaps my favorite beard wash I've tried.

Not much different than using a regular, top-of-head, shampoo
Be sure to review the back of the label (you can click on the pic of the back of the bottle for most of this; I missed this before buying).Ingredients (spellings have been corrected from the label; several were misspelled): Water, Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Disodium Sulfosuccinate, Lauramidopropyl Betaine, Jojoba Wax PEG-120 Esters, Sodium Chloride, Parfum, Citric Acid, Phenoxyethanol.Check the description to see that this shampoo is labeled as a "100% natural and organic soap". I suppose it depends on whose definition of "natural" and "organic" you are using, if this is accurate.More for consideration, from the label: "Formulated in USA, Made in P.R.C." In case it's not clear to you P.R.C. is People's Republic of China. This is important to some buyers.I would not describe the scent as woody in any way. It's not a bad scent, but certainly not woody. The results are not much different than using a regular shampoo on the beard. Though, with SLES as the first ingredient after Water, there are more "gentle" surfactants out there (like Decyl glucoside).

False Advertisement!!!.... Average Product
Be aware that this product is falsely advertised. They claim that this is "100% natural and organic soap: free from fillers or foaming agents" However, the SECOND ingredient, after water, in this shampoo is Sodium Laureth Suflate, which is probably the second most well known foaming agent (and skin irritant) next to Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. I contacted them to ask them about this and have not received a response, even though they say they respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.Fortunately, I have not had any skin irritation from this product, but any product containing Sodium Laureth Sulfate runs the risk of having contaminants that are known to be highly carcinogenic. For a product that you are rubbing on your face and around your mouth, that's highly concerning. Especially, if the company is falsely advertising their product.I tried the product once. It certainly works better than your average hair shampoo but it's nothing special when it comes to beard shampoos. Also, it's FOAMS a lot, due to the Sodium Laureth Sulfate. Will probably return and would not recommend. Make sure to read the ingredients photo!!! Don't trust the product description.
