Cute little globes with a delicate candle flickering ellement. Does not give off much light, they are purely for effect. used them in old ships lanterns.

6 bulbs, well packed. No chance of damage in transit.Nice quality feel to them.All 6 worked with no issues.The colour is a nice warm orange.The brightness is unfortunately very dim. I think the illustration shows the larger E27 screw base, but the principle is the same. These low-power bulbs have a single flame-shaped light source that flickers somewhat like a real flame. I tried one in a multiple-bulb chandelier fitting, and it didn't work. Neither did others from the pack of six. The problem doesn't seem to relate to the fit in the socket- some bulbs can sometimes foul the sconce and not reach the central contact - and I am not sure why they didn't work. The fitting is wired in parallel, so the voltage should be right. But in a bedside lamp, the bulbs worked fine. This isn't really an appropriate use for them, because at two-Watts, the light output is very low - equivalent to less than twenty-Watts in an incandescent bulb.But there will be uses for them in decorative lighting. The very warm orange-yellow light pulsates in an attractive, almost mesmerizing manner. At £22.99 for a pack of six bulbs, they cost nearly £4 each, but should last a long time (I find LEDs do sometimes fail early, but I can't say how reliable these will be). Power consumption is negligible. I haven't seen mains bulbs like this before, but we have DC garden lights and LED candles produce similar effects.
