This tube is absolute perfection. I use a lot of different water color brands, but I've heard so many good things about Daniel Smith that I had to try them.I'm not a watercolor snob, I just like my colors to feel "buttery". A few of the W&N Cotman's have that feel, and so does this Daniel Smith. The color itself is beautiful and I use it a lot. I just love Payne's Gray, and I guess it's no surprise that this so far is my favorite one.

I love Daniel Smith paints. A bit more expensive but a little goes a long way. I will continue to replenish my paints with Daniel Smith brand.
