It has a magnet for side of fridge. And it has a bottle opener. Of course it is a great food thermeter that is handy and easy to use.

... and I got it on sale. Works like a charm, instant read, seems to be quite accurate. Now my BBQ go-to. I recommend it.

Well ! What i had i think had mercury in it! Really? Time to upgrade, Sarah! I used this on scallops and it seemed to be so easy - i guess it worked - they're so small and fragile. The temp did change though and i'm still here - so, so far, so good. It seems big but i like the read out and the protection of the probe; not to mention the bottle opener on the end - hahaha. haven't used one of those in a while. Nice thermometer - give it a try - can't wait to use it on a steak! :>)

Nice size. Easy to read. Love that the on/off is the retractable probe, perfect design. Bottle opener is another handy feature.The magnet is too weak. Barely strong enough to hang on a fridge, works 50% of the time if you're careful. I also think it reads at least 5 degrees low.All in, it's not bad. I'd buy it again.

Such an improvement over the meat thermometers I have had in the past. Great value! Sturdy, accurate, easy to read. I hope it lasts forever!

This is my 2nd time to order this as my trusty first one accidentally fell into the sink and landed in a bowl of water for who knows how long. It tried to work for a few days as it dried out but alas it finally died. This one is more water proof and works like a dream. So easy and very accurate. I use this to test my homemade sourdough bread doneness, water temps for dough, the actual dough temps during proofing and rise, as well as meat temps. A thermometer like this is a must for any cook and baker.
