Replacement SS heating plates with ceramic rods (plus two extra) for my DCS 27” grill. The originals lasted many many years; We’ll see how long these last. Well packaged. Perfect sizing and the ceramic rods are thick. See photos for actual measurements.

At first, I tried to get new ceramic rods for our existing heat plates (which I think were originals), but then that seemed silly since the plates were rusted and corroded, and I couldn't get them to open up and release the rods. So, I decided to buy this package that has the heat plates and the rods.I installed them over two months ago, and so far, they are working well. No problems.

although these ceramic rod-plates are replacement parts for DCS gas grillers ; i find that they are usable on my generic gas grill ! these ceramic rods on steel plates is a game changer in doing serious grilling. first it helps tremendously in creating even heat distribution. it being ceramic it retains heat better! as a bonus any fat or marinade drips hets caught onto the ceramic and quickly burns off into smoke that ultimately adds to the grill flavor! a definite plus. best of all, after each use, the drips that hot burned off on the ceramic rod are easy to clean off using a kitchen nylon brush and soapy water. wipes off clean! no more battling flare ups! great technology in grilling!

I can only give a preliminary review since only time will tell how these trays hold up. They look and feel very much like the original ones that came with my DCS grill. The rods look sturdy and thick and the stainless steel is thick as well. In the past I have found that these types of replacements just don't hold up as well the originals but maybe these will. They are made in China.
