KenKen
I get through KenKen books so fast so this one is excellent, as usual. If you haven't already tried KenKen, I thoroughly recommend it.

Ken Ken 3
The book was as advertised and arrived in quite good time. What more can one say? Postage charge was dear, and the second book could have been sent with the first to reduce the cost. The Times KenKen Book 3: The new brain-training puzzle phenomenon: Bk. 3

Times Ken Ken
all levels of Kenken in this book, I recognise some from the Times. Kenken is a bit more demanding than boring Sudoku

Disappointed
This is not like 1 and 2 but I suppose it's a way of moving you along.Mostly multiplies and divides where I prefer a mixture.Probably good if you found 1 and 2 too easy although half the book is taken up with easy muliplies which are not challenging.Won't be buying any more.

Too much of a beginner's book
The title is "KenKen3" so I'd have thought that any complete beginners to KenKen puzzles would probably have bought and worked through KenKen1 and KenKen2 by now, That would mean that there wasn't the need for so many puzzles at a totally introductory level. Almost a half of the book is pitched at the standard of the absolute beginner who, the publishers assume, has no idea how to approach a KenKen puzzle. I think this is a false assumption. The puzzles that there are at a high standard are certainly challenging enough_there just should have been more of 'em.

Too much trash for beginners!!
If you are a somewhat experienced solver of Kenken, you'll soon find out this book is mainly addressed to beginners or even children beginners...Of the proposed 105 Kenkens,72 are really easy 4X4 or 5X5 grids you can solve in 3 minutes. Nº73 to 87 are medium 6X6 grids which you usually solve in 8 or 9 minutes, and are quite mechanical. Finally, the only interesting part features the last 18 6X6 Difficult and Fiendish grids (out of 105!! just 1 out of 6...),Nº 88 to 105.To sum up, a real disappointment.Mr Miyamoto should be more serious and specify the average level of the published Kenkens, or whom the book is addressed to.
