Made From H.S.S. 4241#,Set of 5 Stripped Screw RemoversThis is a review of the damaged screw extractor set by HYXLONG (set of 5).The extractor bits arrived in a small plastic box - all 5 were held in place by snap fasteners and were marked “HSS 0-4#”.The extractors were single-headed and made from High-Speed Steel (HSS). High Speed Steel is a high carbon tool steel, containing a large dose of tungsten. Each of the bits was between 56mm/57mm/58mm in length and of various drill bit diameter (<6mm, 6mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm).Operation is simple. Before you can use these extractor bits, you need to create a burnish hole (you need burnish bits) with a drill, drill anti-clockwise (reverse) until you’ve made a thread in the screw.Once you’ve created a thread in your target screw you can then use these extractor bits by putting your drill in the anti-clockwise (reverse) direction to grip onto the threads you just made.Overall these were good quality solid bits, they didn’t malform or crumble. I tested them out on a sample screw in some wood after I had burnished its head. The bit I used marvellously locked tight and gripped the screw and voilà it spun out. I had to take up the decking to replace faulty decking lights and almost every screw was already stripped or became stripped - all 100 or so of them. The screw extractor worked first time every time for half the screws. The extractor then became progressively less effective, maybe due to my own fault (not cleaning out the dirt and grime first) or not so I bought a second pack. Not complaining as they saved a huge amount of time and an immense amount of effort - well worth the price twice over.Will buy again for a future project or to just have to hand, in fact I just have.

Brilliant bit of kit, how I managed to get on be for drilling screws out I'll never no!The bits come in a sturdy plastic case with a good clasp. Simple follow the guide on the case for the correct size screw and insert the bit into the end of the drill. Put the drill in a slow setting and drill out the screw. Made easy work of used to be hard job.Would definitely recommend this product to and diyer or tradesman.

Doubtful minded that this would work, kept drilling away and all of a sudden the screw came smoothly out

Used this once and only once, did not seems to work at all. The only thing a managed to do was perfectly round off the inside of the screw. It was a particularly stubborn and large screw but as removing it was the sole reason for buying this product it useless for me. I will say that the remover bit held together well and showed no sign of damage after use.

Good enough, the Hex stalk is Imperial though, bear in mind when thinking about using a spanner to twist them instead of a drill or screwdriver

Robust enough and it does the job on Phillips/posi drive screws but its more complicated on slot heads. I rung the head off a brass screw.

Molto spesso mi capita nel mio lavoro che devo svitare una vite a taglio o a croce che ha la testa rovinata e non si riesce più ad infilare il cacciavite. Grazie a questo kit ho risolto il problema.Ma andiamo con ordine e partiamo dalla spedizione che è avvenuta nei tempi e nei modi previsti, ho ritirato il pacco in un Amazon Locker un paio di giorni dopo che ho fatto l'ordine. All'interno del pacco di amazon ho trovato una scatolina in plastica nera che conteneva i 5 estrattori. Ogni pezzo ha un gambo esagonale e la punta conica filettata sinistra di diversa grandezza a seconda del diametro della vite che si ha necessità di svitare. Gli estrattori sono in acciaio HSS e a prima vista sembrerebbero molto fragilini, in realtà ho svitato almeno una decina di viti e sono ancora come nuovi. Non ero molto fiducioso sul funzionamento in quanto ho visto altri kit molto simili che sul retro hanno una punta per effettuare un preforo sulla vite. Questo kit non ce l’ha e funziona egregiamente senza praticare nessun preforo; nel video allegato a questa recensione ho rovinato la testa della vite, molandola con un flessibile e prendendola a martellate in modo da renderla impossibile da svitare con un cacciavite. Per usare gli estrattori dobbiamo inserirli in un mandrino da trapano far girare il trapano in senso antiorario molto lentamente e premerli contro la vite rovinata; ed ecco che come per magia la vite si svita. Facilissimo! Purtroppo nella confezione non vi sono istruzioni e sono dovuto andare un po’ ad intuito; proprio per questo vi consiglio di vedere tutto il video che ho allegato per capirne meglio il semplice funzionamento. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è molto buono e dopo averli provati sono molto soddisfatto del mio acquisto che rifarei ad occhi chiusi. Ovviamente mi riservo di modificare questa recensione in caso la durata fosse molto scarsa o in caso di anomalie varie. Allego alla recensione delle foto in modo da rendere meglio l'idea di com'è composto il prodotto. Spero di non avervi annoiato molto ma se avete letto fin qui forse avete trovato interessante quello che ho scritto....se avete delle domande non esitate a contattarmi, rispondo a tutti e se posso sarò ben felice di aiutarvi a chiarire i dubbi inerenti il prodotto.

Preso da poco, spero che la recensione non sia prematura.l'ho utilizzato su un pezzo di cerniera spezzata e rimasta avvitata nel legno, quindi senza testa e raso al legno, provato in molti modi a levare il troncone senza successo. Ho fatto un buco da 3mm per facilitare l'innesto dell'estrattore e con quest'ultimo con grande stupore e soddisfazione ho levato il maledetto troncone al primo tentativo. Già in passato presi una serie di estrattori che però mi avevano molto deluso, questi invece sembrano fare il loro dovere molto bene.Molto consigliato.

Ich mußte aufgrund eines undichten Balkons sämtliche Holzleisten, welche als Belag darauf waren, wieder entfernen. Leider sind bei mir bei dem Versuch etliche Schrauben einfach durchgedreht und waren am Kopf entsprechend ausgehöhlt. Um nicht alles zerstören zu müssen, habe ich mir dieses Set angeschafft; in der Hoffnung, die Schrauben ohne Beschädigung der Hölzer lösen zu können.LEIDER hat dieses Set bei mir zu keinem Erfolg geführt! Ich habe von den knapp 50 durchgedrehten Schrauben vielleicht drei lösen können. Mehr war einfach nicht drin! Letztlich mußte ich doch alle Bretter zerschneiden, um an den unteren Belag gelangen zu können.Nicht nur einen Stern sonder zwei vergebe ich, da ich nicht ausschließen möchte, daß die Schrauben vielleicht einfach Mist und für solche Arbeiten incht geeignet waren. Eventuell waren sie zu weich, wie man mir im Fachhandel auf Nachfrage mal gesagt hatte. Ferner möchte ich auch nicht ausschließen, daß ich für diese Arbeiten zu ungeschickt war, obwohl ich mir zahlreiche Videos angeschaut habe, um das Werkzeug richtig einsetzen zu können... Das Set ansich macht nämlich keinen schlechten Eindruck.Nichts desto trotz werde ich bei zukünftigen Arbeiten dieser Art vermutlich auf den alten Trick mit dem Gummi von Einmachgläsern zurückgreifen. Dieses einfach mit der breiten Seite oben auf den durchgedrehten Schraubenkopf legen, Bit rein und langsam drehen. DAS klappt hervorragen. Leider erhielt ich den Tip erst, nachdem der Balkon bereits abgebaut war!

Drei Sterne bedeutet bei Amazon "nicht schlecht" und das sind die Linksausdreher, mehr aber sicher auch nicht.Eine Schraube M8 mit einer Festigkeit von 8.8 war abgerissen und sollte versucht werden mit dem Set zu lösen.Mittig angebohrt und dann mit dem Linksausdreher angegriffen, leider habe ich es nicht geschafft trotz dem Einsatzvon WD40 die Restsschraube zu lösen (und ich habe schon mit Linksausdrehern (Stahlwille) erfolgreich an soetwasgearbeitet).Eine dann (Versuchsweise) mit gut 100Nm eingedrehte M8 Schraube 4.8 lies sich mit dem Set aber entsprechend lösen.Also es geht bei mir, aber nur bei "weichen" Schrauben.Für den Normalen Einsatz dürfte es damit also soweit genügen,für Zylinderkopfschrauben (Dehschrauben) oder ähnliches ist dieses Produkt aber sicher nicht gut geeignet.

sono veramente comodi, ma tendono a rovinarsi, sarà il metallo con una qualità non altissima, comprate per la seconda volta (cambiando il marchio) stessa solfa, FUNZIONANO e funzionano benissimo, ma sono quasi usa e getta: da comprare solo se sono veramente necessarie, come nel mio caso, nel primo un pezzo di bicicletta veramente costoso, nel secondo un pedale, sempre della bicicletta da corsa (dannata) ancora una volta hanno risolto la situazione, se ne avrò bisogno, lo comprerò per la terza volta sperando in un modello più duraturo (4 stelle per questo)

Il materiale è abbastanza duro da permettere un utilizzo sicuro.La scatolina che le contiene ha una buona chiusura, permettere di non avere attrezzi che vanno a zonzo nella cassetta.CONSIGLIO: per svitare bulloni o viti a croce esageratamente spanate è consigliabile fare un foro nella testa del bullone/vite con una punta di una misura in meno dell'estrattore che si intende usara, poi procedere normalmente.

Purtroppo ho avuto bisogno di svitare un paio di viti con testa spanata tenute da frenafiletti leggero. Ho provato la prima punta in quanto erano viti piccole ma ha cominciato a macinarmi il l’incavo della testa. Ho provato la seconda su una vite e ha fatto crack rompendosi in piccole scaglie. Ho provato la terza sull’altra e la punta, appena inserita è fatta iniziare a girare, ha fatto “toc” e l’intera punta si é staccata. Pessimo acquisto. La prossima volta spenderò di più ma in un ferramenta così gli farò vedere l’eventuale danno. Non compratelo!

Ich war erst etwas skeptisch bei dem Preis. Habe schon Profi Linksausdreher benutzt, aber dieses Ding mit dem Akkuschrauber zu benutzen war mir neu. Also probiert, und wer sagte denn, eine Spaß geht ohne weiteres aus dem Holz wenn der Kopf rund ist. Also hab ich den ultimativen Test gemacht. Eine kreuzschlitz Edelstahl senkkopfschraufe M6 mit Schrauben Sicherung in eine Aluplatte geklebt. Nach einem Tag mit Schraubenausdreher im Akkuschrauber auf kleiner Geschwindigkeit auf Anhieb rausbekommen. Ich bin begeistert. Bleibt nur noch die Frage wie lange die Teile halten. Dazu kann ich aber noch keine Auskunft geben. Die Kunststoff Schacht macht nicht viel her, aber die ausdreher sehen robust aus und sind gut verarbeitet. Ganz klare weiter EMPFEHLUNG!!!

Quante imprecazioni quando una vite perde la "testa" e non si riesce a svitare! Ho trovato davvero efficienti ed utili questi quattro estrattori. Non ho idea della loro durata e resistenza all'usura (ma in fondo quante viti troviamo con la testa danneggiata durante la nostra attività hobbistica e/o di manutenzione della casa? Ben poche secondo la mia personale esperienza) ma già in un paio di occasioni mi hanno risolto brillantemente il problema. Anche se durassero solo pochi interventi , mi riterrei completamente soddisfatto e non esiterei un attimo a ricomprarli.

Der kleine Lebensretter :)Unverzichtbar bei Umzügen und besonders bei Ikea Möbeln:)Leider sind bei Komplettmöbeln oft nur minderwertige Schrauben verbaut welche man nie wieder einfach herausschrauben kann.WICHTIG: Es muss vorgebohrt werden, sonst greifen diese Bits nicht!!Zwar mach die Aufbewahrungsbox keinen sehr hochwertigen Eindruck, jedoch die Bits dafür umso mehr. Selbst nach einigen Schrauben konnte ich noch keine Abnutzungserscheinungen feststellen.Ich bin sehr zu frieden, danke für diese Erfindung!!

Prodotto consegnato nei tempi previsti. ho avuto modo di provarlo ed il risultato è stato molto buono. Avrei dovuto usare il trapano con relativa punta correndo il rischio di rovinare la filettatura sottostante la vite. Questo estrattore ha svolto egragiamente il suo compito

Set utile solo per viti da legno. L'avevo acquistato per estrarre un bullone rotto.. ma non sono riuscito a risolvere il problema. Per come la vedo io.. il set sarebbe stato più funzionale se fosse stato concepito più lungo perchè inserendo una parte dell'estrattore nell'avvitatore rimane poca profondità sulla quale operare.

Das Set mit 5 Schraubenausdrehern ist schnell und in einer praktischen Aufbewahrungsbox angekommen. Die einzelnen Schraubenausdreher sind schön verarbeitet und sehen wertig aus. Ich habe gleicht losgelegt und die betroffene Schaube mit einem normalen HSS-Bohrer aufgebohrt. Das Ausdrehen funktioniert einfach indem man den Schrauber auf Linksdrehung stellt und mit ein wenig Druck ins Loch geht. Man muss langsam anfangen und schon löst sich die Schraube. Das Material der Schraubenausdreher ist hochwertig und hatte nach der ersten Schraube kein Abnutzung. Ich kann das Set empfehlen.

Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, ho risolto efficacemente e senza fatica! Avevo due viti irremovibili, e con due minuti le ho svitate entrambe.La qualità del metallo di queste punte, mi sembra buona, il loro utilizzo è molto semplice, insomma un ottimo gadget da avere a casa!Naturalmente spedizione prime puntuale.

Finalmente ho avuto la necessità di provare questi estrattori di viti e devo dire che hanno fatto egregiamente il loro lavoro, avevo due viti "spanate" impossibili da togliere con un cacciavite, ma con questi non ho avuto nessun problema.Consiglio.
