Very fancy!
This would make a fab Christmas present, comes with 5 different cocktails, each sachet needs a quick shake and pour straight over ice. They taste lovely!

Nice idea, unpleasant taste
This selection of pre-mixed cocktails are... well, I'm not sure where this would come in handy but it's a quirky thing to present once for a small gathering, I guess? This aperitif box contained a Negroni, a Cosmopolitan, a Daiquiri, an Espresso Martini and a Tommy's Margarita. These types of cocktails are more like the sat in jazz bar, suave business meeting type cocktails over the classic night out in town. I was most keen to try the Espresso Martini and the Cosmo. Each pouch needs to be shaken, then you tear the corner and pour over ice. This was quite fiddly as the corner didn't always tear properly. When you do go to pour, it jets out and some speed and I've ended up spilling quite a bit. It also doesn't empty out completely and you do end up squeezing to get it all out. In the end, you're not actually left with that much - just over half a glass and most of that is due to the ice.Taste wise, they weren't very nice. I usually quite like the bitter cocktails but I wasn't overly impressed. The best one out of the lot was the Cosmo and that was if I had to pick. Perhaps it is mostly a preference, but my partner also tried it and wasn't keen on any of them. For £34 at time of review, I don't think I'd be investing in these again.

Not for me
This item consists of 5 different cocktails unusually packaged in 5 polythene lined boxes. In order to access the cocktails it is necessary to vigorously shake an individual box, then tear off a marked corner and then pour the contents into a glass, carefully massaging out all the liquid.Unusual but it works, more or less.I do not generally drink cocktails but ordered this as a sampler, to see what, if any, I liked.5 different flavours, all with, as far as I can tell, the same base liquid, the same texture and mouthfeel in all, apart from when it was overwhelmed by the 'flavouring'.I quite liked the margarita and the Daiquiri - the same basic drink tho.I didn't find the cosmopolitan to be nice, just an overwhelming cacophony of different flavours consumed all together with a slightly grainy texture.I also didn't like the Espresso Martini, but that's not surprising as whilst I like coffee I do not generally like coffee flavoured things - also with a grainy feel, on top of the ever present basic base liquid.I actively detested the Negroni - the same base liquid but with something like a mixture of iron bru and raw cola syrup added, with an additional bitter flavouring added.So...I didn't object to 2 out of the 5 and would not drink the others again, even if free making this a rather expensive way of obtaining cocktails, if it hadn't been supplied free to me on the vine program.Unless you know that you, or someone you know, like all 5 of these cocktails then I would give thought as to whether it is a good way of buying them, as a mixed 5 pack.I have only deducted one star as the basic methodology works fairly well, and my views on the cocktails are entirely subjective, other people may well like them more.

Great way to try a selection of cocktails
This pack contains a selection of 5 cocktails in a handy small box, suitable for taking to a party or for a little trip away. All you need is suitably stylish glasses and a load of ice and you're good to go (although a little garnish wouldn't go amiss). Each sachet has 100ml of cocktail in it, which with a generous amount of ice goes a long way to making a full cocktail. You get a selection comprising: negroni, cosmopolitan, daiquiri, espresso martini (my favourite) and margarita. The box states only premium ingredients are used and the taste is very good and would seem to reflect that (of the four we've tried so far they've all been excellent). This is a really nice way to try out different cocktails a bit cheaper than trying one out in a cocktail bar and a really nice idea to take to a party with you. So I think it works really well. It's a little on the expensive side at more than £5 per cocktail at the moment but that's gonna be at least half the price of buying it out, so a good way to see if you can find a new favourite.Congratulations NIO on a fabulous idea that is very well executed - product, packaging and concept all brilliant. I could hope for a better price but it's still 5 stars from me.

Handy for test-tasting all of those cocktails that you have heard of but never tasted.
These 100ml NIO pre-mixed cocktails each come in a box and the pack of five of them comes in a retail-ready display pack. Each box has 100mls of ready-mixed cocktail in it and all you need to do is tear off the corner and pour it into a glass - usually pouring it over ice as you can see in the photographs. The plastic sachet inside has a cut in the edge of the corner and a score mark where it needs to tear although I found that some of them needed to be cut with a pair of scissors in order to open properly. These will allow you to test-taste a number of cocktails without having to purchase the ingredients separately and if you find that you don't like one, you haven't then got a large bottle of one of the ingredients sitting in a cupboard, gathering dust.

Im sure some would like this but it wasnt for me
I did really want to like these! Youre definitely getting your moneys worth in terms of the alcohol content as they are all very strong tasting of alcohol.Unfortunately the only one i liked in the end was the cosmopolitan which had the least strong alcohol taste out of all of them, the martini was okay but I couldnt even stomach much of the negroni. Im definitely no alcohol connoisseur. If you look at the amount of drinks you get as a whole however, there are 5 drinks in there for £35 last i checked? Which makes each one of those drinks for about £7.
