Good brush for slicked back bun/ponytail. Soft on one side and slightly firmer (but not too rough to break hair) on the other side.

This product is a real gem for hair care. My daughter has long hair, and she loves using both sides of this brush to make her hair shine. It's sturdy and hasn't lost any bristles after weeks of use. Plus, the wooden handle is comfortable to hold. Definitely recommended for keeping hair looking sleek and polished!

I mainly got this to add to the rotation of other brushes for sensory/dry brushing instead of it being used for hair. My kiddo benefits from the input of dry brushing and I was looking for a brush that was more coarse that provided more of a tactile, prickly sensation. This brush arrived in a transparent, plastic sleeve. No bristles were bent or missing from either side. Handle didn’t have any scratches and it’s smoothed all around making it comfortable to hold. Also like the curve in the handle that is near the bottom of bristles for you to place your thumb. Bristles are dense on both sides. The black bristles are a lot more coarse, densely packed and overall rougher when compared to the other side. The lighter side is a lot more tolerable and you can apply more pressure, but, it’s still firm and prickly enough that I wouldn’t consider it as being soft. Both sides do great when it comes to actually styling your hair if you’ve already combed/brushed through it. This sets any fly always down when putting your hair up or wearing it straight. Overall it’s a nice dual brush that’s well made.

This brush is a bit smaller (thinner) than I thought. But it works well. It looks nice and sleek & leaves your hair silky smooth.

One of my daughters has waist-length hair and has been using this brush for a few weeks now. She really likes both sides to 'polish' her hair. She'll use this brush first and spend a few minutes getting her hair to shine. Then she styles it with her regular brush.It's sturdy and after a few weeks of use doesn't look to have lost any bristles.
