Vivart watercolor materials are the best on the market, in my opinion! I’ve been using their watercolor paint set for years, and I absolutely love it... same with this new watercolor paper! It works very well with all techniques, such as wet on wet, wet on dry, and others, and the size is great! I highly recommend it!!!

With little working of the paper when wet the paper begins pilling and falling apart. I bought the pads to play around with techniques due to all the good reviews, but I've got little good to say about the paper, would not recommend even beginner watercolorists. Might be good as a pencil sketch pad but be aware that the surface is very rough. Very unhappy with the lack of quality. Won't be buying again.

This is really high quality watercolor paper. There are a couple of painters in my family and I gave them as gifts. Now they are raving about this product. Highly recommend it!

I just bought this paper and I suppose it would be good for beginners since it is inexpensive compared to other more professional type paper. It is just ok not great as some of the previous feedback indicated. When I wet it and wanted to lighten a section by using a scrubbing method the surface disintegrated and started to pill. I had to wait for it to dry so that I could brush off the pieces that came off. I also did some drawing on the smoother side of the paper and my sharper hard graphite pencil tore into the paper in places. Perhaps I was pushing too hard but I haven't had that issue with other paper. I guess I would say this is not a professional paper but a nice paper to experiment and just play with.

I have Vivart’s watercolor set that comes with the paper and I love it! I was super excited to see that they started selling the watercolor paper separately. It did not disappoint! Very high quality and I highly recommend it.

The paper is too thin and I don’t like the texture.
