The house we recently bought has in a few places under-cabinet lights with tiny bulbs. I couldn't imagine how I was going to be able to change bulbs when they went out... until I saw this tool! It's perfect! It allows you to remove the tiny bulbs without breaking them.

This handy little tool is one I never knew existed and one I wish I had known about 20 years ago.In my case, I'm using it to remove the small halogen modeling lights that are in a narrow space inside my studio's electronic flash units. The thick plastic coating on the concave tips of these specialty pliers is thick enough to allow for a secure grip on the small bulbs without breaking them.The light bulb remover is a simple design but I did have a problem with it when I first took it out of the package. The connection point between the two halves was too tight and the pliers didn't open and shut easily. I worked them back and forth for 10 minutes (which scraped away some of the shiny coating at the center where the two halves overlap), and also tried to bend the two halves apart a little so they wouldn't bind as much. I was successful and I now have a fully functional tool that doesn't require very much effort to open and close.

Some plug in light bulbs are hard to get ahold of to remove and these make it easy without breaking the bulb.
