SKS Unisex Adult Sliding Bridge P50/55 For Chromoplastics Spare Part - Black, One Size

Bought this to repair the front mudguard on my wife's Cube E bike as the mount on the original Acid guard had sheared. It was an easy part to fit, just slide on and then use pliers to squeeze the metal around the mudguard at the right place for the mounting screw location. When it was fitted it was not really noticeable as a repair even though the part is silver an the guard is black.

Ordered two mudguard bridges in black. My order arrived, great fit but wrong colour . Very disappointed. Why can't they stick to what they say.

Fit my generic fender set. Pinched in the sides a little and holds my fender up and away from the tire. Exactly what I needed after a branch got pitched up under my fender and broke the original a clip off. Easy install.

Two of them come in a plastic bag. They look sturdy. Time will tell.

I’m giving this five stars even though SKS should get -5 stars for not including this metal one with their fenders, in particular the Bluemels 53 fenders (mudguards for across the pond). All other SKS Bluemels and Longboards I have purchased have included the metal rear mount adapter, not the crap plastic one included in my last Bluemels 53 (700c) fenders. Even moderate tightening of the plastic mount to seat stay bridge will cause it to either separate or break the plastic. This ignores what the plastic will do in cold weather, which is get brittle and then break if you are lucky enough not to break the plastic mount the first time around.Five stars for functioning as it should, making install go as it should. Easy to install (duck bill pliers for crimping on the fender work best) and sturdy. And -5 stars for SKS going cheap.
