This book is so well written I felt truly connected with the characters & their gripping story. The simplicity of life, the scars left by the Vietnam war & the love of a lifetime - add in the presence of God - and you have this book. I loved reading it!

This was a great love story and the details so vivid such an easy read.

Great book. Surprise ending. Several chapters will have you crying. Highly recommend. The storyline is a little slow in parts, but easy reading.

The story was beautiful and believable. I enjoyed this read .It was a believable small town romance.

This combination book was outstanding. The story pulled you in and I could not put it down. The characters were very loveable and interesting. The only thing I did not like is the taking of The Lord’s name in vain in the story.

I have never read a book with so much pain and sadness over the years. And it’s because of a deep love that never dies through all the hurt and sadness and obstacles thrown in their path. A wonder full book that is almost like a fairy tale. I highly recommend this book.

I really enjoyed this book. Characters were down to earth and believable. And so many emotions throughout the book, Suspense, sad, anger, happy and finally rejoicing with the characters.The kindle version needs some major editing though.
