I'm returning this item
I bought this item because it came up with an 'Amazon's Choice' logo and had a 4.3 rating. The item was flimsy, like a very cheap child's toy that you might buy at a cheap supermarket, and barely works - the blue light kicks in so infrequently that it would probably have taken literally days to do two full legs and the battery is unstable, having switched itself off after a brief test despite overnight charging. The poor quality stood out sufficiently that I did some investigating around the surprisingly high review score and I can see multiple (older) duplicate entries with significantly lower review scores.

Be patient
As a 63 year old woman I bought this with cautiousness. I have found it can be a little uncomfortable but nothing to be concern about. What has amused me is discovering why men pull such silly faces when shaving! You will get the 'scent' of singeing hair, don't worry, it is meant too!This was bought with the need to 'kill' the facial hair I have acquired and feel very self conscious about. Memories of whiskery aunts of a certain age emerged and left me very upset. Something had to be done and I do not want to spend my life shaving. I looked at another brand widely, and expensively, available. Price alone ruled that out.Results, I am pleased with the ongoing results. From day 1 I could see a difference, not a huge one but one nevertheless. Following the instructions to the letter I am gaining control and the elimination of the facial hair. It's also working on my legs and underarms too. You MUST use the buffer to get results and always moisturise.If, like me, age and nature is being cruel; but the rest of you is still looking good and in working order; this cousin be the inexpensive answer to your dreams of being hair free! It's also good for anyone younger and could save all those years of hair removal. It is not an overnight sensation, but give it time and stick to instructions, it will work.Oh. before I forget, it's not just we girls it is suitable for😇Update. As I previously said, the system does take time and patience. It is working. The horrible facial hair is retreating and those hairs present are weakening. The interesting part to treat is the hair along my lower jaw bone, this is where the hair is definitely trying to resist. However, the improvement is obvious. Remember to use the pads and moisturise.I am so happy to have found the Showliss. It is fairly priced, does what is made to do and will leave me hair free where I wish to be so.

It doesn’t work!
Doesn’t work! I used as per instructions and my hair seemed to thicken and get courser! It’s also super time consuming... Very disappointing that you can also only return before four weeks when you actually need quite a few weeks to trial it - as per instructions! Back to the waxer I go!

Not a good product
The charger has broke on the showluss pro and can't be charged. I want to return it for a refund as it's a lot of money and haven't even had it a month or used it more than twice!!!!

Recommended for fine body hair.
I was sceptical at first but after many months on steroids for a medical condition, I was left with a very hairy face. I'm very fair so IPL wouldn't work. I couldn't afford a NONO so I tried this and it works! It took me a little while to work out which direction to roll it before it would work and practiced on my leg before putting on my face. The smell of burning hair is horrible but I jump in the shower afterwards. My legs still felt stubbly as is doesn't got down to the skin to avoid burning I suppose and I've shaved those for years. But the 'bum-fluff' on my face has now gone with no stubble. Recommended for fine body hair.

It doesn’t even deserve a star. It seemed ok in the box but would not charge up at all, tried with several different plug attachments. Nothing happened. After a week of trying to power up, gave up and sent it back.
