Strong and robust product
Good strong and robust product. Easy installation steps and help with drilling too.This extra lock has now stopped the movement I used to get in the door when locked.

Best for safety
Best you can buy. Lock smith was delighted I bought it. Excellent and worth it.The cheap ones are rubbish

Peace of mind
Great peace of mind. Easy to install, depending on the make up of your door. I had to lift the base rail and drill down into the metal frame to get a firm fix.

Good safety product
Followed instructions and used the template exactly as instructed , made sure it did not touch sliding door, but upon tightening the screws down, it pulled the lock back towards the door so that it now touches. Luckily we do not use that door too much. Lost a star for that reason. Otherwise:, product is a good idea and robust.

Need better way to secure to frame
Idea is ok but is not locked by a key. Also the screws could be longer as where it goes on bottom of door is normally not a good solid surface and would need to go deep into the floor and frame to be able to securely hold the pressure if someone tries to lift the door off.. Securing to the floor is the problem.

Fitting was slightly more fiddly than I was expecting
But if you have an old aluminium patio door, this is VFM peace of mind. With this fitted, the door is going nowhere.Just make sure you have an array of drill bits. I ended up using a step bit and an 11mm HSS to get the job finished. Even then, for a complete ham-fisted amateur, it took about fifteen minutes.
