written from an American perspective, with lots of ideas for growing plants in unusual locations and public spaces, but not necessarily the best book for someone wanting tips on growing on a small roof terrace in the Peak District! ...but a good read nevertheless...

A very comprehensive book covering all aspects of roof top gardens. A few more actual "construction" details would have been useful for those of use who are not structural engineers. A very encouraging book.
