Mister Maker Sock Puppets

My toddler loves Mister Maker and his ideas are amazing and loads of fun for little ones. I think they teach them lots too. However I always suspect Mister M is a shade too optimistic when it comes to the sticking power of glue. This kit is no exception, and provides a pritt style glue stick for sticking (hard plastic) googly eyes onto stretchy socks. It ain't ever gonna happen! The instructions acknowledge this as they advise sticking the eyes on and then leaving under a heavy book 'ideally overnight'. This makes the kit a bit tricky for toddlers to use but for older children, who don't mind the wait and will play more carefully with the finished product, it would work better.

Good little craft kit, however thought it would be straight forward for my 3 year old to make by just sticking eyes and ears on sock but much more complicated and required lots of cutting out.

This was purchased for me to help three children all disappointed as nothing stuck well with the glue provided a very mediocre product

Bought this for a friend's granddaughter's 5th birthday as she has a puppet theatre! Had great fun making them with her grandma and am sure will get hours of pleasure playing with them!
