Good fit for Ruger LCR
The laser sight was somewhat easy to install. It took some adjusting to get the revolver to function properly after installation. I haven't needed to change the battery yet but it shouldn't be a problem. Adjusting the laser to accurately hit the target was fairly easy and the gun shoots much more accurately with the red dot.

Easy to install, works great
Bought this to help improve my long range targeting. Works great. If you’re smarter than me and thoroughly read the instructions you will have it installed in minutes. You do need a small Phillips head.Took it to the range. Worked great. You need to replace the cylinder pivot screw in the LCR. the screw is included and they tell you the torque setting for an Allen screw. I don’t own anything to measure torque. I just screwed it till it stopped. The laser will not fit if the screw is not tight enough

Great value (update: poor reliability, great customer service) holds its zero despite 38spl recoil
I haven't had the issues other have with it being activated in the pocket due to the buttons, but so far I have really enjoyed this purchase (only one range trip in though, I'll update later if anything changes). It's pretty easy to install and sight in. I wish there was a way to change the battery without removing the laser (but hey, it's another excuse to go to the range so I won't complain). If you're looking for a pocket holster (which might be the most common way to carry this gun with the laser attached), look no farther than the Blackhawk TecGrip Size 4. The combo of that holster and the Ruger LCR with this Lasermax is a total winner! Great concealment, quick target acquisition, accurate shooting... not much more anyone could ask for.UPDATE: Fewer than 2 years later, it broke during shooting and wouldn't turn on. Upon disassembly, the battery is still nearly full (I don't get to shoot as often as I'd like haha, maybe 5 range trips with it since that time), and nothing looks out of place. But it failed at the instant I fired one of the rounds. So I've lowered the star rating to 2 for reliability.UPDATE #2: Upon contacting LaserMax customer service, they asked me to test another battery first to make sure it wasn't the battery (he said sometimes they will maintain enough voltage on a tester to show OK but not have enough juice left for operation). Once I did that, they promptly accepted an exchange under their 5 year warranty, and around a week and a half later, I had a new unit shipped to me free (I just paid for shipping the defective one there for a grand total of $4 at USPS). So due to the great customer service, I've updated the stars to 4 (and it probably would have been 5 if it was anything other than such a critical piece of equipment that absolutely cannot fail during use for obvious reasons). Overall, I think it is still the best laser option for the LCR if you like whatever grips you already have.

Looks awesome. No problems so far.
Currently have this equipped on my LCR .357 pocket carry. I don't know if it's my carry method, my cheap Elite Survival pocket holster, or just the kind of pants I wear, but I have not had the issue with the laser switching on in my pocket. The stiffness of my holster makes it very hard to activate the laser while holstered, even if you're trying. One of the main advantages of the CF-LCR is that it's positioned very near the bore, and vertically in line with the bore, which is a little more ideal than the (much more expensive) Crimson Trace lasergrip. Also, since the laser attachment is forward of the trigger guard, you're free to use either the excellent standard Hogue grip, or the Bantam/boot grip (also by Hogue) and still have laser sighting.I'm still trying it out, so I can't quite give it five stars yet. So far, I've put 100 rounds of .38 special reloads through the LCR with the laser attached and only five rounds of expensive .357 magnum Hornady Critical Defense (my carry ammo). So far the laser has performed like a champ and I'm pretty happy with it, but I'm still waiting to find out if it will break after putting some more .357 magnum rounds through the gun. For what it's worth, the instructions say that this laser is meant for use with the "Ruger LCR .38 special/ .22 LR / .357 Magnum."Adjusting windage and elevation is done with a tiny allen wrench (included) and is very simple to do on the fly. I just put my sights on a target ten yards away and adjusted the dot to match my iron sights at that distance. All told, the CF-LCR is super easy to install and use, and looks cool as hell. Makes shooting at the range loads of fun.

Relatively Easy Install AND Compact Laser
I considered this laser and the other one that is a grip replacement type. I like the stock grip as I want concealability. This laser is small and still fits in my small holster or my coat pocket without any problem. Install was mostly easy, a little hard to hold both pieces together. Adjusting the sites per the instructions only took me 15 minutes to zero it, I like that you can adjust for distance and wind, though you couldn't practically do it in-the-moment FYI as you need the tool, it's nice for the range though. This is also HALF the price of the other laser which is another reason I got it. The button is easily reachable with my middle finger while holding the gun's grip which is a plus. Some people mentioned the button sticks out a little so you might press it by accident, I haven't had the issue, if you did you could sand it down I suppose, but sticking out helps me feel it. I can easily draw, push button, and aim, all with one hand, because I can feel the button sticking out so I don't have to look.Overall it's a good buy! The only down-side, but I haven't had to yet, would be taking it apart to replace the battery, as you have to unscrew the whole thing I think, and then double check the zeroing again.
