Squeezes out just about every drop of juice possible.
Juicers are popular around my house, probably because I have an institutional hatred of smoothie shops that all-to-often hand over smoothies composed mostly of apple juice for $10 a cup. My kids hate me for it, but it is what it is. I ordered this juicer for an opportunity to try the cold-pressed method over the macerating or centrifugal juicers to see if there was something I was missing. Up to this point, the macerating juicers were in the lead in terms of performance. My only concern was that the motor on this juicer was only 250w, as I have had juicers up to 750w in the house in the past. Apparently, the juicing style for this model doesn't really have the need for high wattage to operate, as it performed quite well in all aspects. My daughters tested both fruits and veggies in the juicer and were pleased with the quality of the juices, also pleased with how little liquid was present in the waste that was discharged. One thing I observed was that if you don't like the taste of orange or other fruit peels, you want to remove them before juicing, as it dramatically affected the flavor of the orange I tossed down the chute. One thing I thought was a terrific idea was that my daughters didn't juice all of their fruits, they conserved some of the less-woody fruits (cherries, banana) and placed them in the freezer in advance to use as the frozen component of their smoothie base instead of ice. They commented that it really boosted the flavor of the smoothies. Give it a try. Recommended

High end juicer - Pulverizes beets - Heavy duty and extremely well made remind me
I am a very active man in his 60s who does a lot of cardiovascular activityIn my pursuits of a healthy lifestyle I enjoy juicing mostly for beets and ginger.Beets are harder than most fruits and vegetables, and this juicer went through them like a knife through butter on a hot day.I was enjoying my Ginger beet juice in no time..At first I was a little concerned about the cost of this juicer but I have to say, thisvis a high end juicerIt's extremely well madeWhen I got it out of the box , I could tell this was the real deal.It limes with 3 different juicer grates, and it has a very large opening for bigger fruits and vegetables

Gets all the juice but the hand press citrus juicer works better.
Very happy with this juicer. Comes with stainless steel fiber container, very nice. The glass juice catcher is great and beautiful! Motor is quiet. Be sure to cut the produce into smaller pieces so as to not overload the motor. Get a hand press citrus juicer for Orange, lime and grapefruit juice, hand press works better. I recommend the Zulay Kitchen Cast-Iron Juice Squeezer. Consider getting the book " The Juicing Recipes Book". Great juice recipes even for the green vegges which can be a little too green but the book ballances that out with small additions of sweet fruit. The Sana juicer is very expensive so thats the 4 star rating.

POWER, INNOVATION, SINGULARITY AND ELEGANCE. YOU'LL FIND NO BETTER JUICER.
Sports car metaphors always come to mind when “Form and Function” meet in a product I’m reviewing, perfectly. This is one of those moments. The SANA is an exhilarating sports car. But it’s also a luxury car, with a hushed, magnificent ride. And if you don’t care to read any further, please take away with you that, though many juicers have passed through my kitchen — centrifugal and masticating — none has come anywhere near the power, innovation, singularity, and elegance of this SANA juicer. It is in a class of its own.The Amazon website is very clear in its descriptions of what the machine can do, and what all the included attachments can do, so I won’t repeat any of it here. Though I’ve not explored making smoothies or sorbets in the SANA, if this machine can EFFORTLESSLY masticate huge beets, fat carrots, and stringy celery, it could masticate nearly anything you put in it. The SANA even masticates nuts! The moment the SOMA arrived in my home, I bought about a hundred dollars of organic vegetables and fruits, and took the SANA for a spin. The SANA has an imposing profile. Tall and formidable. The base of the juicer is very heavy, as superbly-engineered machines should be. Despite its weight, however, the juicer seems compact. This machine masticates whatever you put in it smoothly, quietly, straightforwardly. The auger just keeps on turning (a very serious auger, weighing 607gr.) If you’re juicing carrots, they’ll easily fit through the the feeding tub. No need for a pusher, but it’s available if you want to use it. If you’re juicing beets, apples — larger fruit — you’ll really enjoy the “trap door,” which is patented. You flip a little lever on the feeding tube, and the trap door opens; you put in your large produce; and the trap door folds down, drops the produce, and flips back up again to await the next piece of produce. It’s a significant piece of engineering. (Please see video.)If you’ve ever put a masticating juicer together, you’ll put this one together with your eyes closed. The principle is the same. The difference is that the pieces of the SANA slide/snap together without effort. They also have red arrows to assure you that you’ve assembled the parts together correctly. The spout through which the juice comes out (the “tap”) will not leak on you, as every other “juice tap” I’ve ever had, has. The auger can also reverse, in case anything gets stuck, which I find unlikely. All juicers are laborious to clean. Lots of parts; pulp stuck in tiny holes; strings of celery wrapped around hidden areas of the juicer. This SANA is shockingly, wonderfully easy to clean. It comes with many attachments, brushes, to help you clean the juicer. But I was truly surprised to only need the standard juicer brush to get a bit of pulp from the juicing screen. In the past, the most difficult part of a juicer to clean, by far, has always been a little tiny area under the chute where the pulp comes out. With the SANA, I used the back of the brush to push out the bits of pulp that were under the chute, and then they rinsed out easily. THAT was a pleasure I’d never before experienced while cleaning a juicer.A few technical things: The SANA Wide Mouth Premium Cold Pressed Vertical Juicer is a very high-quality juicer, known for its slow juicing process, which helps preserve the nutrients and enzymes in your fruits and vegetables. The juicer is powered by a 240W high torque motor, which allows it to juice even the toughest fruits and vegetables. It also comes with two premium accessories: a GLASS JUICE PITCHER and a STAINLESS STEEL PULP CATCHER.[There is one demerit for the SANA: the lip of the glass pitcher that comes with the juicer is too thick. It doesn’t make a good fit under the tap. So if juice is trickling down — and not gushing down — the pitcher doesn’t catch it and it spills down the side of the pitcher. It’s an easy fix. Just put something under the pitcher to raise it about a half-inch. But it’s really a surprising oversight for this company.Lastly, and maybe/probably a coincidence, but “Sana” means “Healthy” in Spanish.]Given the SANA’s raw, yet uncannily quiet power, I believe the laptop on which I’m writing this review, could be juiced.

Super nice juicer
This is a super nice juicer. All of the parts are heavy duty, including glass cup. The directions are easy to follow. Works great!!!!! Very quiet too.
