Smith+Nephew ALLEVYN Life Wound Dressing, 5" in X 5" in Box of 10

I don’t usually write reviews but these bandages were so amazing I had to write one.First of all, they are extremely comfortable to wear. The adhesive part flexes, fits and sticks seamlessly to the skin, even staying on while moving and bending and on contours of the skin that do not lay flat.It absorbs a large to moderate amount of drainage and the best part is when you remove them, it does not hurt at all! No irritation from having to change bandages multiple times a day. Comfortable enough for multiple changes and even wearing them overnight and even laying on them. The material locks in and feels breathable and it seems to also have a bit of a nonstick mechanism when changing them. The material seems to also be water resistant after the bandage is on.They are pricey but worth it!

I highly recommend Allevyn Life wound dressings for their superior absorption and comfort. They effectively manage wound exudate, stay in place for several days, and are gentle on sensitive skin. The design makes them easy to apply and remove with minimal discomfort. Although they are a bit pricey, the quality and effectiveness are worth it for reliable wound care.

I purchased these to use for care of a slow-healing surgical wound for a family member. I use these often in the hospital, and they are well-worth the out of pocket costs for personal use. The dressing does a great job at holding drainage and keeping it away from the skin so that the wound has the right moisture for healing, but the surrounding skin does not break down. They offer excellent comfort for the wearer and protective cushioning without being bulky. The adhesive is secure without tearing fragile skin, and was very easy to remove. Prior to switching to these dressings, we were using ABDs and tape twice a day. After switching to the Allevyn Life dressings, we were able to reduce the frequency of the dressing changes to every few days and the wound began healing much faster and the surrounding skin was so much healthier. Truly liberating!

I purchased these to help prevent pressure sores on my loved one's tail bone from sitting long hours. They stay for several days. They have a thick cushion and thin adhesive that doesn't irritate his skin. They are easy to apply and remove. These are the same ones that our home health uses. I searched for this specific brand and style. So happy that I can get them easily.

These have been fantastic throughout my wound healing process. I've been using since 1 July for a large wound. My scarring is going to be almost non-existent and the shower-proof nature has kept my wound dry as prescribed. My super-sensitive skin has been fine with the gentle adhesive (I use the one with a wide adhesive border) for these many months. No allergic reaction, no pain to remove, no redness. I'm an active runner and athlete and they've stood up to everything while also being gentle and healing. Can't recommend these enough.
