Remember when you had to choose whether you were a gold or a silver person? Well those days are long gone and the mixed metal look is bang on trend, both for jewellery and in the home! This striking lamp is the perfect addition to any living or work space or even your bedroom to add that element of Mixed Metal Chic. It's handmade from copper pipe and a mix of brass and chrome plumbing fittings with an antique bulb-holder, connected using an antique gold flex and a white British Standard plug. It's got protective felt pads on its base to protect the surfaces upon which it is placed and add further to the premium design of this lamp. Named "The Flamingo" by a customer due its looks :) - Height: 36.5cm (including bulb 46.5cm) - Width: 17cm - Depth: 15cm Mains lead length is approximately 190cm from the base of the lamp down to the plug. The Lamp-holder takes a standard BC light bulb, max 60w, 40w recommended or LED 6W/4W. All my lamps have the CE (European Compliance) marking and are PAT certified to provide health and safety reassurance. A vintage bulb, worth £10 is included. Exposed copper will tarnish with age due to oxidisation. This will enhance its industrial style. If this is not desired, it can be cleaned with Brasso or polished with fine wire wool and buffed with a cotton cloth. Please ensure you do not buff the flex.
