The media could not be loaded. Not bad. I needed it for the ammonia measurements of my tank, and it’s not bad. Just that strips aren’t as reliable as a master kit. But for now, this will do.

So far, the tests I did are accurate. I did 3 times within 1 week of new water change, all the tests resulted within range. After added about 50 fishes to my tank, 2 weeks later, my water started to get a little bit cloudy, so I tested the water again and it showed high in nitrate and nitrite. So I can confirm that the test strips are good.

Definitely more bang for your buck, ones at pet stores are around $20 for less. These work just as well as the in store ones. Good size and easy to use!

First of all these test strips do not have an expiration date on them so your guess is as good as mine as to if they were still in date. I used these strips for 4 days, and every day I was reading PH-6.2, Ammonia-0, Nitrates-0, Nitrates-0. Silly me trusted the results, and lost a fish. Tested with my API liquid test kit and my ammonia level was 2.0 which is insanely through the roof! Not to mention I ALMOST raised my PH level as 6.2 is too low for me, but the API kit read neutral at 7.0. IF YOU LOVE YOUR FISH DO NOT USE!

I ended up using the API liquid kit and then I compared to see how accurate the strips were and they were not even close. Didn’t read the ammonia at all when I was cycling my tank when the API read .50.

while it does work for testing ph and hardness i did not get a reading for nitrate, nitrite or ammonia which showed rather high with the liquid test from api .50 ammonia and 20 nitrate. Even comparing to the api test strips which aren't great i did get a minimal reading from them.
