Sojourn Thermal Protection Straightener 8.5 oz

I hadn't purchased this in so long that I forgot how well it works. I like it because it moisturizes and protects the hair while heat styling (blowdrying and flat ironing). I love the scent, it reminds me of something with notes of fruits and a subtle sweetness. I don't find it overpowering. I've used other brands of thermal protection but for me this is the best. There is less hair shedding and breakage compared to the other brands I've used in the past. Even though this thermal protection is a little pricey, I'm still very happy with my purchase and I'm going to stick with Sojourn in the future.

This is my favorite straightener and detangler. For around $20 it's a good deal because I know it's not cheap but it lasts me about half a year! Although I do have shoulder length hair. I def notice a difference when I don't use this when styling with heat - hair feels more brittle and frizzes more without it. Even when I'm air drying my hair to get waves and curls, I'll wait to spritz this until my hair is almost all the way dry, then spritz my hair lightly all over and it will curl/wave in just the right way (this is also something that happens when my hair gets rained on, but with the Sojourn it's less frizzy)

I don’t know that this thermal protector works better than any others, but the smell is sooooo amazing! It smells like no other product! Maybe some coconut, but not overtly coconut. It smells like fresh flowers from a tropical locale, id wear it as perfume if I could! I use it between shampoos and styles just for the delicious scent! Unfortunately, the spray hole gets clogged a lot so it doesn’t mist without a cleaning, but I imagine that’s the nature of the ingredients.

The only reason I put 4 stars is because of the price. All around a good product, though.

I was looking for something to replace the dudley creme press because I HATE the smell...this was it! I have naturally curly kinky hair. It works beautifully for it. Smells good. Left my hair soft , nicely straight. Healthy. I will say my hair needs more oil than this offers but I use a separate cream for that. Other than that, Its worth it!

Love the smell but I had to use a lot of product to get it to actually do what I wanted it to do. I thought it would make my hair feel softer while protecting it. I felt as though I was using scented water. Ended up giving it away after I found a better product.

I use a flat iron to make my hair silky and straight. I have fine dry hair and the Sojurn thermal protector does the job well to protect my hair and leave it glossy and straight. It also dries quickly and so when I blow dry my hair, I add it to my wet hair first, dry my hair, and then spray it again into my hair and comb it through. Then I do the hair straightening. Great system and it works for me and I use very little because not a lot is needed to accomplish the end result.

My hair used to smell fried after straightening or curling BUT since I have used this right before applying hot irons it no longer smells like that so it must be doing something right! (:Did I mention it smells amazing? And makes my hair soft.Recomendations:1- when spraying.. spray from bottom tips upward to roots2- don't over do the spraying as hair will be greasy when used to much(little goes a long way)ENJOY (:
