i have very rough feet and every tool I've tried in the past poops out on me or is not strong enough. this one however is a workhorse. in fact, you need to be careful as if you get too aggressive with it, it can actually grind too much and cause your skin to bleed. for me that is not a problem. i would rather the unit have too much power as not enough. i've learned to be a bit more gentle with it and it works flawlessly. if your feet need constant attention for calluses and/or rough skin, this product will work just fine. i highly recommend it.

If you have thick foot calluses, this model (FCR-2) is the one to get because it has enough torque to keep grinding when you apply pressure to try to make actually progress on thick dry skin.The FCR-3 is extremely weak in comparison, it "boasts" 4x higher RPM but it has very little torque so it stops dead if you apply even slight pressure. Torque is far more important than RPM for this task. To use an analogy, the FCR-3 is like a feather duster while the FCR-2 is like a belt sander.I have also tried battery powered models and it's the same story as the FCR-3, they have high RPMS but very low torque.

This works great! It's like a mini sanding machine. I have used a different brand and style for years, and it does not compare to this product. Only downside is that is has to be plugged in while using it. However, at least the batteries don't go dead.:)

I got tired of paying cheap foreign pedicure shops that didn't do a very good job reducing my calluses. I bought this thing and it's amazing! You do have to be very careful that you don't stay in one spot for too long because it will get warm and even hot if you really let it go too long. Other than that this product is great at reducing my calluses and extremely easy to use. Would highly recommend.

This product is wonderful! I grew up a country girl always barefoot outside etc. Now my skin grows so thick and hard. I scrub with soap and water, but my skin still doesn't exfoliate as it should. I tried this product one time and my feet were pedicure smooth in minutes. The sanding disc stayed on the whole time and didn't get dull at all. The different levels come in handy for different parts of the foot. I turned it up in hard areas and down in soft areas. It was very gentle and effective. I also love that it's electric not battery operated. I feel it makes it stronger. Worth the price!
