Temtop LKC-1000S Air Quality Monitor Formaldehyde Detector, Air Pollution Sensor, Humidity and Temperature Meter Tester with PM2.5/PM10/HCHO/AQI/Particles/TVOC VOC/Histogram

We used this monitor to track air quality in our apartment in SAn Francisco during the recent Camp fire events. It proved to be very accurate and matched the outdoor readings published by the local authorities very closely. This accuracy let us track the air quality indoors with a lot of confidence. We selected the model with the additional formaldehyde monitoring capability (the lower cost models measure particulate -smoke- matter only) and got a real surprise with the high formaldehyde emissions from a couple of pieces of flat pack furniture. We moved these out of the bedroom immediately and have now gotten rid of them.

I am impressed with this air quality meter. I'm a home inspector and wanted to add air quality check for my clients. This device provides PM2.5, PM10, number of particles (per/L), formaldehyde levels, temperature, humidity, and air quality index. That's a lot for the small price. The color screen is great as well and shows in photos that I take for the clients. My only complaint is that the unit did come with a sticker on the screen that was difficult to remove and clean off the residue. If you need a handy meter for air quality on the job or at home this one has a lot to offer.

First day of use I thought it's pretty cool and accurate. However, the second day it started showing 0 or 1 for the air quality at the same place where it was showing me 8-12 the previous day. I just can't believe this is be true. How much different can the air in the closet be from day to day when nothing else has changed?!

make me wish I had one of these things years ago to see just how bad the air quality I have been living in all these years.

This product is not accurate, is not made well and everything about this product is just false advertisement. Do research before you buy.

Poor accuracy, not USB interfaceable. PM data is twice the actual value. Humidity reads half the actual value. Temperature often reads 32 F, even when temperature is 80 F. You can build a more accurate device for less cost using arduino and off the shelf sensors

Very easy to use and accurate readings helped us find a problem without internal air in part of the house.
