Sweet exchange!
Love it! After I sent the damaged model. (Struts arrived broken & one of the nacelles arrived broken as well!) The new one was sent, but as BIGGER MODEL! Sweet! If I had known they look even better at this size, I would have ordered the other ships I have that size as well! Thanks!

Great piece
Good detail half metal half plastic and has a little weight to it. Stand is really cheap.

Excellent Customer Service McPhrey Media LLC!
On July 16th I ordered the Eaglemoss Star Trek the Official Starship Collection #12 USS Enterprise NCC-1701-A from McPhrey Media LLC, for a Trekonderoga event in Ticonderoga NY. Where Mr. William Shatner, Captain James T. Kirk himself, was celebrating his birthday with fans. When I was that it would be delivered after the event I tried to cancel it.When the people of McPhrey Media got a hold of me, I explained that I was going to the event and was hoping to get it signed by William Shattner they generously expedited the shipping, and I got it 3 days later on the 19th! At the event, the staff there said the ship itself was too small to sign, but William Shatner signed the plastic window! It is now in a safe place with my larger Eaglemoss Enterprise-A & a Star Trek Magazine that he signed, along with an autographed photo of Haruo Nakajima, and will always be part of my pride and joys of my Geek-Collection!Great Customer Service! If I can find their website I definitely will pay it a visit as a happy customer! Please enjoy the before and after photos of my Enterprise-A signed by William Shatner!

Nice Model
This is a nice model. For a model this size -- about 4 1/2 inches -- the detail is very good. The main saucer section and deflected array are die-cast metal. The engine na-cells are plastic -- but this is not a disadvantage in my opinion. The manufacturer used blue opaque plastic on the sides of the engines. If you display the model near a light source such as a lamp or window -- the blue panels illuminate in a very pleasing way. The stand is solid and supports the model well without obscuring too much detail.

Very Nice
I received it yesterday and really like it. It's very nicely detailed. It does require that the engines and their support be glued together but it was easy to do. The engines are also plastic but the main body is metal.

Meh...
Mine came with the nacelles broken off. I had to super glue them and after that it was fine. In my humble opinion, this is not worth the price. If you can afford it and absolutely must have it, you've been warned about the build quality. It's delicate. It's a decent desktop display piece, however. I do wish it was a tad bigger, however. They should make one that is not as big as the Diamond Select one but slightly bigger than this one. I also have the Hallmark Christmas tree ornament. The ornament is nicer because it lights up as well. Not sure if the ornament can be displayed like this one but they are about the same size.

Broken too
I have ordered virtually this entire collection, and feel they are in general very well put together and well packaged, apparently this one not so much. Like at least two of the other reviews my nacelle struts and one nacelle had broken off. They're easily glued back together, and in my experience this is a unique problem. As for the rest of it I'm very happy. But if you order it, I suggest having a tube of superglue ready for unpacking.

An excellent reproduction of a beautiful starship.
I received mine today. I have no complaints. The detail is pretty good. The size is precisely what I expected. The base is the type that should last for many years. I have already ordered the Enterprise-D. I'm beginning a collection of these Eaglemoss ships.
