I have a Ford Expedition and drove from Virginia to Arkansas on a vacation gone for almost 30 days. I was able to practically hang my entire closet and still had room to hang more. With all the weight of winter coats, 7 suits etc etc there was no give or bending of the bar. A bonus was how the bar had hard rubber stoppers that are movable and adjustable to separate clothes. Coats, pants, shirts all neatly hanging in my expedition. Actually better than my bedroom closet. Highly recommend because of quality, ease of use, and reasonable price. A+A+A+

The bar is sturdy, however I have two issues with it: Once you loosen the bar by twisting to get it to the right length, you can't properly tighten it again as the mounts are at a wrong angle. The second issue is the mounts do not mount solidly on the handles or garment hooks. The bar simply hangs off of them, so is loose and moves around. I wonder if the bar will pop off the hooks when I hit a significant bump. The bar it seems to be working fine but one should be aware of those issues.

This replaced a metal model w/plastic cover-never worked well & eventually broke. This model fits better, looks great & should last a long time.
