Not thick enough got blackout, but lightweight enough for most applications
This material is lighter than regular duvetyne that completely blocks out light. Held to the light, you can see significant light through this material which could be problematic for photography applications, but work for curtains. There’s no mm thickness listed on this product listing and there needs to be.

NOT duvetyne, just a black, shiny cloth, on both sides. There is no napped side, like the description states. Arrived folded into ~ legal size bag, not on a roll (wrinkles), like pictured. Do not recommend.

it works
This has a decent, tight weave. If an absolute blackout from direct sun is needed, you'll have to double, perhaps triple-layer it. Compared to the brand name Duvatyne, it's close to the og spec & well worth it at this price
